Back on April 15, 2010, Tea Party supporters gathered in Washington when they produced the "Contract for America" that was based on the principals of individual liberty, limited government, and economic freedom. The voting public responded by electing over 60 new members to the U.S. House of Representatives and also gaining

Tea Party to be out foxed by GOP elitesThe TPM brought the GOP the majority in the house and now they are going to bite the hand that fed them?
Not a politically savvy move IMO.

-—...or will they remember why they were elected and fight back?-—
They will fight back. They will fight back because we won’t allow them to do otherwise.
We want our country back. Period.

The GOP Elites are "elite" because they know how to make money out of being politicians. They know when to "play ball" with the Dems, in exchange for getting their earmarks put in Dem bills. They know how to cash in on supporters desire for earmarks.
Being able to make money out of the game, enables them to stay in the game LONG after the idealists get tired.
Politics is corrupt. It has always had an element of corruption, and always WILL have an element of corruption. This is why the amount of money subject to politics should always be reduced.

Hey GOP. The TEA Party Republicans report back to THE PRECINCTS from which they originated, where other TEA Party people man the precinct.
The movement is UP from the precinct level.
GOT THAT YET?

I hate to invite another of these circular third party discussions but let me say
The THREAT of removing our support from the GOP is an IMPORTANT and powerful weapon. We should not give it up. Actually pulling the trigger and starting one would be an admission of failure but if it gets that bad, who cares?

If purported conservatives turn into Orrin Hatches upon arrival in DC, they can rest assured that it will be their one and only term in office and the republican party will cease to exist as a viable political force. I doubt our elitist, DC country clubbers truly understand how enraged the public has been over the past year or so. Continue to puss out and bend over to the left however and they’ll certainly find out.

I just heard on Fox that the TP Patriots gave out the freshmen class' private phone numbers and emails, in fear that the newbs would be co-opted by the GOP orientation meetings. They've (TPP) since apologized.
Now, the TPP may cancel their planned orientation meeting :(

The old as@hats will never change. The GOP can never be fully trusted. America has seen such a loss of freedom and has been abused by both Parties. The Democrats are not socialists but communists. (Look up the word and follow their history. Germany before WWII?) Never in our history has the Republicans fully stayed with the Constitution and have bend over so many times that I for one will never trust them again. But saying that, it is all we have until the system of electing them changes and we dump about have of our voters that are clueless, dope filled, mentally ill jackasses.

I wonder???
Who would be in charge of Congress if the party distribution were to be 30% Dem, 30%, Rep, and 40% Tea??
Which party would get to elect the Speaker? Who would be in charge of Chairmanships? Would the Reps join the Dems to lock out the Teas?

Someone tell the dopes who run Tea Party Patriots that illegal immigration is a massive financial and constitutional issue. Some doofus there told me TPP has “no position on immigration”. Yet they spend tons of time fighting ‘earmarks’ which even if every penny were eliminated would not even fund a single day’s operation of the Fed gov’t. Meanwhile illegal aliens cost the U.S. $113 BILLION ANNUALLY, and Article 4, Section 4 mandates that the Feds protect each state from invasion. How the hell can the tea party not have a “position” on that? Tea Party Patriots will have zero credibility to me so long as they keep their heads in the sand about illegals.

This seems to assume that the Tea Party members of the U.S. House are stumbling, moronic yokels who can be easily manipulated and foiled. Odd assumption for someone who purports to support their goals.
