creamy avocado, cool crema, buttery scrambled eggs, a sprinkling of sharp cheese, and lightly charred fried beans.

Nope, perfect porridge is a handful of whole oats (not the quick kind) a handful of dried cranberries, enough water to cover and then nuke one minute. Serve with butter and maple syrup. YUM

Also for a change, fruit smoothie or chorizo and eggs wrapped in a flour tortilla.

I love the great English breakfast fry up! Pots of tea or coffee, hot toast and fresh, bright orange eggs and that great staple: black pudding. The only thing I don’t care for are the Heinz baked beans. Too tomatoey.

Lots of great idea & pix!

I have been on Fit for Life for about 15 years. Sometimes slip off it now & then. Essentially a different type of diet designed for maximum energy & Protecting the immune system.

The side effect is normally weight loss. When I started it there was just a book & some cassette tapes available. Now it is big business, which I would avoid. Just read the book(library or buy paperback) & see if it might be something worthwhile for you at this age/stage of your life

Breakfast is NOT a big meal as it is in many diets. If you have an interest you can check on line for info

Liquid Essentials
Daily Multiple Plus+

It is a manufacturer that does private label resale, since my local retailer doesn’t have a website I’ll give you the manufacturer,

You know what is really kinda’ amazing?

Most breakfast places have no clue how to make a decent omelet.

We take eighteen ounces of sizzling ground beef, and soak it in rich, creamery butter, then we top it off with bacon, ham, and a fried egg. We call it “The Good Morning Burger”.

I borrow from the English—and grill up a tomato to go with my eggs over easy.

This is how you should cook an omelet.
