A personal observation. I was in the Alameda County Courthouse in Oakland the other day to assist with observing the count for CD11, and I was impressed with the professionalism of every worker. There was little if any chatter, just people doing a job that they obviously took seriously. It made me feel good about America, once again, and renewed my faith in the process.

You had a good experience. That’s one data point.

I served on 11/2 as the Pub Alt Judge in a dim precinct.

The dim Judge committed dozens of misdemeanors. I brought each violation of the law to his attention, but usually he just kept doing things his way, not the legal way. Mostly, he found following the law to the letter too time consuming. For example, a voter would show up who was not in the Poll Book of registered voters. Instead of taking the time to call the County Registrar, he just looked at the zip code on the driver’s license and sent them off to a precinct that he GUESSED was their home precinct. I’m sure many were sent on wild goose chases and never got to vote.

However, GET THIS, his violations served to suppress the votes in his DEMOCRAT precinct.

If you are not detecting any fraud, find a new area to police. Believe me, it’s out there. I have seen the most audacious scams.
