Sure, Mark. And Obama's economic plan for America is like Mao's Great Leap Forward.

If I remember this correctly, after she resigned, Willie Brown (yes the lib pol from California) said she had the best political instincts he had ever seen, and that her decision would be seen as brilliant down the road.

The mid terms have shown her new influence, it's why there are many articles the last few days from the journolistas spreading the meme that "she's unelectable".

Like Rush says, they show us who they fear.

This astonishingly came moments after he called Nancy Pelosi the most effective House Speaker in his lifetime.

If she was such an effective House Speaker, then why did she also have the shortest tenure of any House Speaker in nearly 60 years?

So what is saying is that once in office she will be elected over and over again.

Why is the commie left so fixated on Sarah Palin? She isn’t running for anything. They’ve been pounding her relentlessly since McCain announced her as her running mate. They’ve never let up. What is it with the commie boys anyway? What are they afraid of?

So Mr Shields, when did she get drunk and kill someone. You compare actions as though they were similar. Are you paid for these lunatic ravings......If so, Why.......

they can train people to stand on the very edge of the pool and throw them fish.

Whoa, if the libs are spouting this insanity now, wait until the 8 part series with Sarah begins this month and sets record cable ratings.

They will go totally bonkers, and Sarah, while gaining more publicity, will laugh all the way to the bank.

I saw that, I can think of a couple of others here that might go that way before too long........

The journolista friends of the dems are really pulling out all the stops to discredit her, the amount of articles attacking her in the past few days are astonishing.

I guess after the successful mid-term, they think they need to shriek even louder.

PBS's Mark Shields on Friday said Sarah Palin's decision to resign as the governor of Alaska is "like Ted Kennedy's Chappaquiddick."
This astonishingly came moments after he called Nancy Pelosi the most effective House Speaker in his lifetime

Well, his views on Pelosi are opinion. Everyone is entirled to one, no matter how stupid and irrational.

I do agree with his Pelosi remark; Pelosi was phenominally effective, if you consider simply results, albeit in a Mugabe, fascist sort of way. Constitutional Representative Democracy it wasn't.

As for the Chappadaquiddic remark, that is simply a stuck-on-stupid moment, if we set aside the sad mentality of any insane human being able to equate the death of an innocent victim with the voluntary resignation of a politician from office.

Talk about a pathological contempt for human lfe!
But that mind set among the radical progressives is now mainstream. What's the big deal?

It’s hilarious to see Shields mentioning Chappaquiddick in this context, since it never seemed to bother him when Teddy was alive.

Having said that, in the limited and goofy way he’s using it, he’s absolutely right. Agree or not, Palin quitting makes her a non-starter for many people for what it implies about her. Not saying I feel that way—I’m not sure—but I have heard more than one people say that choice was a dealbreaker for them regarding Palin as a candidate (and I’m not talking about liberals saying this).

I just think it’s funny to see Shields finally being forceful about Chappaquiddick being a bad thing. It never seemed to bother him before, when bringing it up might actually hurt his idol Teddy.

Mark Shields cheapens the life of Mary Jo with his sick comparison.
