As much as I like Sarah Palin, I’m afraid that her decision
to quit as governor hurt her presidential aspirations, and that’s the point this guy is trying to make. The other side
has already labeled her as a quitter and that will be the message they’ll use on her relentlessly. I understand why
she left, but I really wish she had stayed the entire 4 years to get the experience she would need for the presidency.
In other words the media won’t bring it up and it won’t affect her future career??

Palin resigning was NOT a mistake - don’t fall for the liberal/media spin.
False ethic complaints had cost her personally > $500,000.

The obama machine was planning to continue to file false ethic charges and increase Sarah’s legal expenses.
The obama machine was using Alinsky tactics to eventually bankrupt and destroy Sarah and her family.
By stepping down, it eliminated obama’s only weapon against Sarah and freed her to step out and speak-out on issues as she has most effectively done.
Sarah’s stepping down was a brilliant political and economic move - she simply reloaded to have the abiity to begin firing at her enemies from a free position.

The crazy thing is now they say it is in the middle of her governorship. She only had a few months left and was a lame duck.
There’s one thing about all of this that people seem to forget, which is that the last Republican president, Bush, had all kinds of negatives that the media played on, but ultimately, the voters’ minds are made up predominantly from what they see themselves. His presence, his appearances, created a persona—all the talk about his past ultimately didn’t add up to much.
I don’t even have to say anything about Obama in this sense.
Assessing how this will work for Palin is difficult, though, because she won’t be introduced to the media when she announces her run. She’s been on the tube ever since McCain chose her—THAT will be seen as her introduction to the public. The disadvantage is that her resignation and all the rest were witnessed by the public as they happened, so they aren’t just things referenced from her past.
The flip side of this? She will have been “present” in the public sphere for four years by the time of election day 2012, which is plenty of time for people to be “over her,” and then reconsider her during the campaign. All of this stuff so recent to us may seem like long ago, far away, and dead issues to the 2012 voter.

Your post is there for all to see. You lied about my position, and I called you on it. Now you're trying to make it about O'Donnell, who I have stopped posting about.
I have been openly asking questions about Palin, not just following the crowd. Not long ago I posted that I am now fully in support of her. Not enough for you? Tough. I think for myself. You seem to think that's a bad thing, but you've let that cloud your thinking because I have praised her endlessly for her leadership, which is what won me over. (And the quality she needs to win.)
There is honor in saying, "I made a mistake, sorry." There is no honor in being caught trying to smear someone and then trying to weasel out of it by bringing up another issue to distract from your being completely wrong.
I though a couple of months actively serving in the senate was all you needed to run for president. Just ask those who voted for Zero.

Palin Derangement Syndrome is disease that causes brain tissue to waste away, and thus causes moments of rage and irrational thinking.
PDS exhibits clinical signs very similar to RDS (Reagan Derangement Syndrome).
PDS also seems to affect the same segments of the population that suffered from RDS. Researchers are trying to pinpoint the relationship between these two brain wasting afflictions.
It's important to bring up issues and discuss them, even if they are weaknesses of candidates we like.
