Democrat pollster Mark Penn appeared on MSNBC’s Hardball and said that President Clinton reconnected with his speech after the Oklahoma City bombings, and Obama needs a similar situation to do the same.
“President Clinton reconnected with Oklahoma. And the President right now he seems removed. And it wasn’t until that speech that he really clicked with the American people. Obama needs a similar kind of, yeah” said Penn.

The public already views him as soft on terrorism and islam. Another islamic terror attack will simply reinforce these views.
His reaction to an attack will, in fact, mark him as ineffective, over his head, and completely disconnected. During the primary debates, when asked what his response would be to an attack he muttered something about making sure the first responders had everything they needed. Woodward quotes him as stating, "We can absorb another attack". The man is a witless, foolish, knavish, lying empty suit. His natural reaction to another attack would sicken the American people and hasten his departure from the political scene.

Yeah....of course.....and I predict something will happen (at home) while he’s vacationing in India and Indonesia.
Maybe he could send some scouts down to Waco to look for opportunities. Tanks and big fires will help him reconnect with some people.
If I recall, Clinton pointedly blamed talk radio and Rush Limbaugh for the OKC bombing. He didn't connect. He divided.
