I'm an official card-carrying member of the Vast Right-Wing Conspiracy. Every morning, I sit in on the hyper-secret nationwide conference call, during which we receive our marching orders from the Forces of Evil. But unless I've missed something--and granted, maybe the extra-bold coffee doesn't always kick in--not once have I heard mention of a plan to impeach Pres. Obama.

So what does Ed Schultz know that I don't? He splattered his MSNBC show this evening with incessant dark speculations to the effect that the new Republican majority is plotting to impeach Pres. Obama.

Currently 40% of the blacks in my household are registered (R) and I'm working on the rest. My fiancee's friends and extended family are harder nuts to crack. They're pretty conservative but don't know what to do with it. Impeaching 0bama would make the progress I've made disappear.

Just because Obama is incompetent, it doesn’t mean that we want to put Rimshot Joe in the Oval Office.

Technically, it would be possible to impeach both Barry and Joe. If they were convicted and removed from office, the new president would be Boehner.

Of course, the chance of a 2/3 majority in the Senate for such a move is less than zero.

In order to be impeached the President has to be a rightful occupant of the White House. When it’s discovered that Obama was born in Somalia/Ethiopia/Yemen/Kenya/Libya ..or wherever I would like to see him frog marched out of the White House by US Marshals and loaded into a van, handcuffed. Hopefully that will be the last we will ever see of him.

Obama, who is not a U.S. citizen, cannot be impeached as he is an usurper — ineligible for the position of President of the U.S.A.

I'm fairly certain that the pubbies won't impeach Obama unless they absolutely have to. Clinton confronted them with such an obvious infraction (perjury) that they had to do something or violate their oath. O certainly has the potential to do the same but it's unfortunately not likely we'll ever know about it.
