Today is historic for Americans! The number of Socialists/Communists in the House of Representatives just got smaller.
The Congressional Progressive Caucus (CPC) was established in 1991 in partnership with the Democratic Socialists of America (DSA) and members of Congress who came out of the Socialist/Communist closet joined the CPC.
Yesterdays mid-term elections eliminated four high-profile CPC members.
* Alan Grayson (FL-08) * Phil Hare (IL-17) * John Hall (NY-19) * Mary Jo Kilroy (OH-15)
In addition, CPC member Diane Watson (CA-33) is no longer in the House.
Also, one Arizona race is too close to call in District 7. If the incumbent Raul Grijalva (D) loses his seat to Ruth McClung (R) (a 28 year old physicist), Raul will be another CPC member to leave the House.
As we know, Progressive is the buzz word for Socialist, Communist, Marxist, etc. Voting Progressives out of our government is a triumph for all Americans!

A good start but it’s still the largest caucus in the House.
Here in Maine we sent Chellie Pingree back. Sucks. Michaud also. BUT, we cleaned up otherwise. Repubs are in control of this state now.
Not all of the socialists are honest enough to join the progressive caucus. Some are actually lurking in amongst the “conservative” Blue Dogs. At least one of them will no longer be with us (see my tag line).
I am SO happy for you that Lepage won. Jealous (NY), but SO happy. I really helps make up for the disappointments ! GO MAINE !!
O socialists anywhere in government is the goal!
Has Grayson been committed yet?
We still have 10 in Ma. if anyone is looking for one.
I’m glad that Socialist, slimeball laywer Cutler didn’t get in! He engineered the Indian Land Claim scam back in the 70’s and SCREWED the good people of the State of Maine.
Good job!
Now we need to get the socialist out of our party by electing conservatives in the primaries in two years.
