California once again proves that, in the words of Jerry Browns former girlfriend, that it marches to the beat of a different drum. Two measures that were widely expected to pass were easily defeated tonight. One would have delayed the states green house gas restricting AB 32, the other freed marijuana for legal possession and sale.

Turning down Prop. 23 sanctions the economic kill shot for California. When AB 32 hits, the hateful Greenies and cowardly Liberals will finally have utterly destroyed their first State.

Then the munchies hit & they all “ran for the border”. Would loved to have owned a Taco Bell for a day. LOL
Even with unemployment at 12% the real pain has not yet hit California.
IMHO, It will take real catastrophic economic collapse for things to become more conservative in the coastal, electorally determinative areas of California.
Also, there are significant portions of the electorate that are profiting from the current high price of marijuana - it’s the biggest $$ crop in the state! “Legalizing” it would commoditize it.

Nothing poetic about it especially when middle class Conservative Californians are aboard the Titanic.
Only the wealthy have enough money to enjoy the trip... they have a lifeboat to jump into.
