Based upon, not law, but a law dictionary?
Honestly?
You are actually suggesting race be used as a criteria for who is an American or not?
Wow. It takes all kinds I guess.
“every of their Children and Posterity, which shall happen to be born within the Limitts thereof”
You are bringing race into this discussion..you have nothing else to bring.
My intent is the meaning of natural. I have shown the history of natural and how the word originated.
It clearly shows descent. The naturels are those born in a country of parents who are its citizens.
The 1797 Vattel translation is not necessary.
It is possible, but they never said so. There is no mention of race in the Constitution other than “Indians not taxed” and that was for purposes of apportionment and had to do with their political allegiance. Indians who were taxed were counted as full Americans.
Your suggestion that those of non-European descent are less than full Americans is disgusting, and counter to the American ideal.
Of all the asinine arguments to make to render 0bama ineligible, that one has to absolutely take the cake as the most ludicrous, racist, bigoted, small minded, and absolutely COUNTERPRODUCTIVE one yet.
Way to convince people that the birther argument isn't just because 0bama is black. I thought the lefties who were saying that were absolutely off their nut, or just going with the lazy ‘the right = racist’ meme they put out there.
And here you are making that exact argument. WOW!
IBTZ!!!
I realize that's not what you're saying (I certainly hope it isn't).
But that's what a lot of people -- some stupid, others not -- will take away from the talk of kith and kin and kindred and kind.
Time to reboot.
Just by simple mathematics we are all related one to the other. Go back about 20 generations..500 to 600 years and 2 to the 20th becomes a very large number indeed. What with explorations, slavery, and intermarriage it is really likely that somewhere along the line we have common ancestors.IMHO
Ad hominem
But cousin marriage curtails the 2 to the n’th power after too many generations. People do marry cousins. Back when few people left their home villages it was inevitable to marry at least a distant cousin. But yes the group still keeps growing larger and larger.
As a consequence of this, anyone alive long enough ago and who had enough children who had children is basically the “father” or “mother” of an entire population group.
And yes, 0bama is the eighth cousin of Cheney. He does have American roots and is of 1/2 American descent. Only by bringing race into it does he suddenly become not an American by “kinship” or whatever.
How about you explain yourself, if you can. I have a feeling though that if you properly explain yourself I truly will be .......IBTZ!
So how about you defend your own words, or eat your words.
I didn't bring race into it. You did.
I find you saying that I brought race into it to be a despicable lie (as well as a pitiful attempt at a dodge). Do you like to lie? Is lying how you think you are going to make your way in this world or get out of defending your own words?

Kind..natural..belonging by right of birth..descent..kinship..family..implanted by nature.
This is why the Founders and Vattel used the word natural and naturels.
natural means descent..kinship..family..belonging by right of birth.
A natural born citizen is born from citizen parents. Obama is not Kind.
But again, completely beside the point............
Do you think the Presidency is or should be limited to those of European descent? Do you think those who are not the descendants of Europeans born in the US are not American as the law dictionary you lovingly reference says?
Do you also go by the “one drop” rule? Because being half white obviously isn't enough. How about an octaroon?
Wow.
IBTZ!
The Sheridan dictionary was publish in 1780.
I was speaking of the law dictionary from 1929 or whatever where you insisted that only the WHITE (gotta cap it) descendants of the European settlers were actually American.
So you keep dodging and weaving. You must agree with me that if you actually bothered to explain yourself honestly I would be .....................IBTZ!!!!!
Your argument is that he shouldn't be president because
He isn't one of our kind. He isn't White.
You have really pushed the "bloodline" argument to the point of absurdity. You're seriously suggesting we limit presidential candidates to descendants of white Europeans? (You do realize the "White House" refers strictly to the paint on the building and not the occupants?)
Alan Grayson is a perfectly acceptable presidential candidate in your eyes, but Herman Cain or Allen West lack the proper bloodline to be eligible in the weird world of bushpilot1?
You've crossed over into some bizarre world where racial purity trumps conservative ideals. You should stick to copying and pasting the words of others...you get into trouble when you write your own material.
Can Obama say he has kindred blood with the Founders..with..the majority of United States citizens?
“It’s an established maxim that birth is a criterion of allegiance. Birth, however derives its force sometimes from place and sometimes from parentage; but in general, place is the most certain criterion; IT IS WHAT APPLIES IN THE UNITED STATES; it will therefore be unnecessary to examine any other.”—Congressman James Madison, Framer, 4th President of the United States, from the floor of the House of Representatives, 1789.
“Tiny Irish village is the latest place to claim Obama as its own.”
