I am sorry to hear of this incident. It does not speak well of Islam. What’s more, the lack of universal condemnation by Islamic leaders speaks volumes.
Islam’s credibility has been destroyed by it’s own leadership and practitioners.
Blaming Westerners for besmirching Islam, is missing the mark by a mile. No amount of criticism by Westerners could do more damage to Islam than it’s adherents have done to it in recent times.

Sometimes members of our troops do bad things. Sometimes they are merely accused of doing bad things by terrorists who run a propaganda campaign. Our troops do not do such things in the name of their cause. Our troops doesn’t dress up like government officials and members of the other side and massacre people.
There is absolutely no justification for what these “freedom fighters” (Michael Moron’s term for such combatants) did and there is absolutely no justification for the media (which is Saudi funded) to keep quiet over such “acts of terrorism that we can absorb”. The system worked. Yee haaaa.

Unfortunately many conservatives do not want to acknowledge the plight of the Iraqi Christians. They were better off before “nation building”.
These are not “extremist” muslims.
Spent part of yesterday afternoon looking for updates on this, all to no avail.

I was outraged at the LACK of reporting as much as you were. I think Yahoo news has been covering it pretty well though. (And I posted the link on my FaceBook page for all to hear about it.)
