Gerry Connolly, or "Jihad Gerry Connolly", as he has been described for his voting and support of the Saudi Islamic school in northern Virginia, while chairman of Fairfax Board of Supervisors, faces the voters Nov. 2nd.
The Saudi Islamic Academy in northern Virginia boasts an alumni of terrorist graduates, anti-Jewish,Christian sentiments in textbooks, and has been described by local law enforcement as a "breeding ground for terrorists".
Connolly is up for re-election in Virginia's 11th congressional district in a tight race with Republican challenger Keith Fimian. Fimian has recieved the endorsement of the Washington Examiner:
"Connollys inflammatory campaign ads paint Fimian as an extremist and himself as a fiscal conservative. Both claims are false. Voters should disregard these distractions from Connollys record in Congress and send him back to Fairfax. "
Both campaigns acknowledge the race is tight.
Aside from Connoly's liberal record in Congress in support of the Obama agenda, pro-amnesty for illegal aliens, he has lent himself in support of the Islamist agenda as well:
"ISA protestors noted that the former chairman of the Fairfax County Board of Supervisors Gerry Connolly "took Saudi money" while voting to keep the Saudi school open. Connolly, now a U.S. congressman, "received numerous contributions to his congressional campaign as he was shepherding the last lease renewal through the board and attacking opponents," said VAST founder James Lafferty."
"Lafferty cited data reported in the book "Muslim Mafia" which show Connolly received thousands of dollars in donations from several Virginia Islamists under federal investigation for financing terrorism. In addition, the book reveals, Connolly received an $18,758 windfall from the Saudi government's U.S. public-relations firm Qorvis Communications while fighting to keep open the Saudi academy."

DemoKKKrat propaganda in this one is focusing on one issue and only the one issue as far as I can tell, i.e. they are claiming that Fimian seeks to outlaw abortions even in cases of rape or incest and, again as far as I can tell, this is the ONLY issue which demokkkrats have been able to win with in Virginia over the last thirty years. It would probably be a good idea for the republican party to have some sort of a unified and defensible stance on the issue.
Next to Alan Grayson near Orlando, Connolly is about the smarmiest weasel in the Congress. He’s run an ad regarding Fimian advocating bonuses for Congress that in my estimation broadcasters should refuse (In response to a question and off the cuff Fimian said maybe cut Congressional salaries to 50K and pay a 250K bonus when the budget is balanced - 350K over a 2 yr congress if they do it. Of course the ad only talks about the “proposed” bonus.) He lied about his healthcare vote in advance to constituents then cast in with Nancy and crowd when he know his district was strongly against it. Finally, he’s the poster boy for career politician.
I was visiting relatives this past week who live in VA’s 11th district. Couldn’t get a feel of the electorate BUT did overhear conversations among some residents complaining that they had not had raises in 2 years. They were extremely irate about no raises.
VA’s 11th district is the most affluent congressional district in the nation. They don’t live in the real world. Most have jobs in D.C. and do not have to endure the effects of the obama-economy. Although it appears that even the “chosen ones” are beginning to suffer.
Hopefully they’ll remember that when they go vote. But NOT holding my breath.
FWIW, I saw only about 3 or 4 cars with obama stickers over my 6 day visit.
The issue that I do not hear or see in the TV campaign ads is Connolly’s vote as chairnan of Fairfax board of supervisors to approve expanding the Saudi Islamic Academy.
His taking of Saudi money. Saudis spend $ billions to spead Wahabbi Islam around the world. Their money has helped establish 80% of the mosques in America.
Thi Fimian campaign should draw attention to this.
