It is pretty easy to go anonymous, if you want to go anonymous. Unfortunately, these guys are in law, not computer science.
For example, you could post your blog to Usenet through anonymous remailers, if you know how to configure a MixMaster client. Then everyone could read it on Google Groups.
Dang, now ya have to turn in a 15 page completed checklist before you engage in Free Speech.
I am a Syracuse alum who gradated in the late 80’s and the political correctness was horrible then. Syracuse University is LOADED with downstate and NYC liberal Jews who worship at the alter of Marxism. Questioning these folks about their political beliefs is immediately warped into an anti-Semitic attack on their character. Furthermore, there was a very militant black lefty group on campus, who constantly stage protest about anything they perceived as racism at Syracuse.
My college roommate and very good friend to this day was a downstate -—Rockland County—Jew who along with several of our good black friends, were also quite disturbed by the antics of these folks. It was a minority of the campus population making the most noise and I know for a fact that many of these radicals stayed at SU and moved into positions of power throughout the University.
I root for my OrangeMEN but not a dime will ever go to the University.
I’m starting to rethink the practice of letting private companies and institutions restrict our constitutional rights unless it can be demonstrably proven to damage them.
Why can the state force a landlord to rent to someone he is uncomfortable with, but allows a college to restrict students 1st or 2nd ammendment rights?
Syracuse takes Federal dollars. That ends the discussion.
