Good to hear from you, lj. I'd only add with conservatives who CAN win. Resumes appropriate for said office, ability to articulate issues, likeability, etc.

Lots of small town conservative Mayors who can run for Congress for instance.

Exactly. In Oregon the R candidates for Governor and Senate - running against (puke) Wyden are definitely not as conseravtive as I would wish, but are infinitely better than the repulsive leftist fiends they are running against.

They will get my votes!
