I advise all FReepers to be VERY careful when dealing with libs over the next several weeks. They are becoming unhinged, and some will snap, perhaps violently. Less than two years ago, they were told the Republicans had become a permanent minority. Now, their world is crumbling before their eyes. Be careful out there.

A suggestion--if someone has a link explaining how to "screen capture," that link be in a comment on the first edition of the DUmmie FUnnies the morning of November 2, for handy reference for those interested in preserving the history of Skins's island before my fellow alum deletes something.

It might actually be better to use something like Camtasia to just live-record a browser window for a while, and then take still shots from that recording. I expect that posts and deletes will be fast and furious, and if you have to stop and do a lot of still shots, you might miss some goodies.

Assuming you're on a Windows machine, just use ALT+"Print Screen" (the latter button should be up near your function keys F1, F2, ...). That puts it in the clipboard, and you can then paste it into any image program.

I think I might agree with what this DUmmie might be trying to communicate here...

Near as I can tell, "Great Wall Of China" refers to the border fence between Mexico and the United States. Also, near as I can tell, in this person's mind, the mere existence of a security fence is antithetical to the existence of the Statue Of Liberty, which in their mind, is simply a welcome mat for anyone who wants to show up and get free goodies at US taxpayer expense.

That's the way I read it, and I disagree.

Well, you can host the images at Photobucket or similar. If you have DropBox, you can put them there as well, in your “public” directory.

As for where to post them... maybe someone could check with the admins about having a dedicated “DU Watch” thread, with appropriate disclaimers as to (im)mature content.
