Chris Christie Mocks The New Jersey Legislature!

New Jersey Governor, Chris Christie, takes a moment to mock the New Jersey legislature for their “priorities.” Hearing a politician fearlessly take on such political nonsense will make you sit back and sigh in pure bliss!

“I want to be fair…there are some things that the legislature has been considering before yesterday- and now they are off for two weeks. They are on vacation. I’m not…they are…they will be back November 8th though to begin working on things like S1643 which requires all cats and dogs released from shelters and pounds to be sterilized, with certain exceptions, and establishes penalties for non-compliance. That got a hearing. While pensions and benefits did not.”

He goes on to mock the hearing for destroying “Contraband”- like cigarettes and tobacco, another hearing that would require dentists to notify patients before providing dental prosthesis that were manufactured outside of the United States…a hearing on penalties for certain types of lock-picking, while telling New Jersey citizens that the 70% increases in property taxes for the last 10 years can wait.

This clip will make your week– I sure wish we had a Governor like Christie in every state in the union!

He’s a bit too socially liberal for me to want him as President...but wouldn’t he make one hell of a Press Secretary? Just imagining him eviscerating the White House press corps makes me smile.

If he can actually turn New Jersey back into a habitable state, it’ll be one of the greatest efforts of political will in the last century.

Ridicule.

And loud laughter.

That is one of “their” tools that we desperately need to add to our arsenal.

Christie is using it perfectly.

Press Secretary is completely beneath his talents. He’s no man’s secretary. He’s a hell of a pitchman, that’s for sure, but a good executive should have sales/persuasion/public speaking as one of his core competencies.

That closing bit about being impatient was awesome. What a closer.

That’s the trouble with most state legislatures — they have no idea how to handle the real problems, yet they’ll spend their time on nitpicking stupidity — laws that interfere with kids’ (who can’t vote) enjoyment of life and let’s say, for example, homeschoolers who run rings around the public schools.

I would love it if my legislature met every two or three years instead of every year. In the off years they can repeal the stupid laws they passed in the last session.

Go Christie!

He certainly does. Love him! Just to let you know how out of control things are in NJ. You can make up to $6130.00 a month a qualify for State assistance. Christie is the only guy that has the b_lls to straighten this crap out.
