Races too close to call (New York State)
Troy Record ^ | October 23, 2010 | Alan S. Chartock

the two iffiest offices, ones that could go either way, are the race for New York Attorney General and New York State Comptroller. The attorney general contest is between Manhattan resident and Democratic state Sen. Eric Schneiderman and Staten Island District Attorney Dan Donovan. snip

although the chances of Gillibrand’s opponent, Joe DioGuardi, catching fire are still a possibility, albeit a long shot. snip

The race for Attorney General is a lot more problematic for the Democrats. First of all, Schneiderman, never known as Mr. Personality among his colleagues in the state Senate, is not thought to be a favorite of gubernatorial heir apparent Cuomo. Schneiderman is hated by his colleagues in the Senate because they think he's a snob. snip

And, it should be remembered that the last two elected Democratic governors would have come from that office.

I was happy to see the author write: "Joe DioGuardi, catching fire are still a possibility." I heard DioGuardi on a talk show in the capital district area yesterday for a full hour, and he was on fire, and the callers to the show loved him.

Sen. Eric Schneiderman is bad news, and more interested in his anti-life agenda, and calls Dan Donovan anti-"choice" which, of course, means Donovan is pro-LIFE!

Donavan had 15 years experience as a prosecuter, but Scheiderman has had NO experience as a prosecutor.

Ever notice that whenever it comes down to absentee ballots, Dems win, and I never could figure out why deads vote for Dems.

Make sure your batteries are fully charged in your cell phones and cameras!

Be ready to shoot video of anything that looks suspicious.

And be safe!

Good ideas, and for those who can, consider being a poll watcher, but bring a friend for safety reasons.

For those who can, consider being a poll watcher, but bring a friend for safety reasons.

And the more liberal the area, the more you should consider bringing several friends.

(in case someone needs a bathroom break - safety in numbers)

More good ideas. It sounds as if you’ve done this before.

I spent a weekend with friends in NYC. When someone had to go home, we went as a large “pack” of people.

That way we were able to dissuade any other “packs” from trying anything, and even if some of us decided to splinter off and go elsewhere (usually), there was always enough people to have strength in numbers.

Bullies tend to back down when confronted by superior numbers. Typical gutless punks.

But it never hurts to carry heat.(and I do)

I've made phone calls for Dan Donovan. Yes, we were calling Staten Islanders where he should do well but consider these facts and you decide how well he is doing.

We called sequential numbers so there were no Party influences and Staten Island is registered 52/48 Democrat.

Five pages of numbers yielded 76 respondents to the question,”Will you be voting for Dan Donovan on November 2 for NYS AG?”
Results 70 yes 6 no. What do you think?

“Results 70 yes 6 no.”

Sweet.

The polls have Donovan only several points behind, and I heard that the polls in NY poll more Dems than Republicans. It’s looking good for Donavan, and thank you for your hard work.

Bullies always will go for the easy pickings.

If I go for a walk in NYC, I want to be with your “pack.”

I remember that voter fraud in Troy, and while it’s no surprise that Dems cheat, I don’t know why more often than not they get away with it.

ACORN has got caught cheating countless times, but yet Kirsten Gillibrand still voted to give tax dollars to ACORN. Even Schumer voted against that one.

Another reason to vote for Joe DioGuardi!

Wow, really too close to call now.

Donovan vs. Schneiderman

AND

Wilson vs. DiNapoli

Each and every one of these four candidates have 44 points in the most recent poll!

I called a talk show today to help Donovan. Maybe someone else can call a talk show tomorrow to catch some listeners who have not voted yet.
