Poll Watching: Calls, Training, and Watching.
On a rainy day, a couple of weeks ago, I went to Sharron Angles office in Reno, Nevada to help with the mail, but ended up spending the better portion of the day making phone calls to volunteers to invite them to a poll watching training that was setup for the following week at the Washoe County Republican Headquarters. I spoke with many people who are very concerned about Nevada having the highest ratings for unemployment, foreclosures, and bankruptcies.
It was worth every minute that I spent on the phone that day because the poll watching training was overflowing out on the sidewalk with people who couldnt get in. Those people signed up for the next training, or to volunteer in some other way, at the table that had been set up outside the training. It was great to see such a large group of people who are willing to help but we still need more people to volunteer for poll watching. I can say that we need more people because I didnt have a replacement after my scheduled poll watching was over.
Here is one reason why poll watching is so important. While I was poll watching, a voting machine broke down. A technician was called and I was informed that the machine was going to be taken off site to fix it. I asked the polling team, What are you going to do with the vote tally disc that is inside the machine? No answer. I stepped outside the polling area to make a phone call to my hotline. After a short time of watching and writing down the events surrounding the broken machine issue, I was told that the machine would not be removed from the site. The polling team locked the voting machine and put it in a safe place within the polling area and within my view. What happened at the close of voting for that day? I dont know. It would have been better had there been someone to take my place. They would have been able to see how things came out with the broken machine and there would have been written notes on it.
You can be a poll watcher. We need you. Its easy. Make the call to your local party headquarters.
Sarah Palin always asks, Do you love you freedom? I love my freedom. Thats why Im a volunteer. There is always something that you can do to help your candidate win on November 2. No matter how small, or insignificant your contributions seems to you, please remember that every little bit helps and counts for something. Adding up all those little bits ends up being a big deal when your candidate wins. See a void, help fill it.
Thank you.

I'd never leave a poll until the bitter end.
Those rat bastards can't wait to be alone.
I show up at about 9 AM, with food, beverages, phone, cameras, my little friend, a book, a pillow and leave between 10-11 PM when the folks from the county court house {both parties} show up to pick up the tallies.
The rat bastards never believe that I'm there for the duration and it really pisses them off.
I rank voter fraud right up there with Øbamacare and illegal immigration as the three most important things that have to be addressed ASAP.
You need to present several forms of ID to get a drivers license, you should need to do the same to vote. In fact, if they want us to dip one of our fingers in purple ink, I think that’s better than what we have right now.
being a poll watcher is important but they can kick you out for little reasons. IF You are an election clerk or judge they CAN’T kick you out. Your eyes CAN stop voter fraud.
Please call your election office and volunteer (you will be paid) to be a clerk. work your way up. Be there!
Be there to count the votes, be there to count the mail in ballots. Just be there, you know the dems will be.
Anyone with any values will not be effected by a poll..
They will vote their way ANYWAY...
People effected by polls could really care less.. on the outcome..
