Priceless!
Here is video of an Illinois crowd spontaneously rising to their feet to say the Pledge of Allegiance, even though the League of Women Voters Moderator had said they had no plan to do so. A man calls for a point of order to ask the moderator if they are going to say the Pledge, to which the moderator said, No we are not. As the moderator tried to explain why they would not be saying the Pledge the crowd rose to their feet and began saying the Pledge!
Republican Joe Walsh candidate for Illinois 8th Congressional District says in the video that this was the best part of the entire forum! He is opposing incumbent Democrat Rep. Melissa Bean. God bless these patriots!
Here's the link to the video. !

Did everyone notice in the video...how their voices got louder when they said “Under God”.........
:)
EXCELLENT - doing the right thing...for the right reasons!!!
The League of Women Voters are a crusty boil on the backside of America.
That is totally and completely awesome! I think the American people are waking up and I believe that groaning over in the corner is political correctness dying a slow and painful death.
You’re right! Thought there was something familiar about that action. Thank you, Illinois Patriots!
And the left constantly whines about how we question their patriotism....
Bastards.
Yes, I did!
This has now also been in two local Chicago burb papers with both initial and later followup stories, a couple youtube videos from different perspectives, Breitbart, and many patriotic conservative sites. Good to see the coverage expanding.
Also, the moderator’s bias has been solidly exposed from her participation in the Obama campaign Organizing for America to the many “Obamaphilia” (her title) photos of she has posted on her personal website including her persona interaction with the Obamas.
Well, all of us here know that the LWV has been a left wing organization for years that masquerades as a “non partisan” organization. It is past time to call them on this.
That cartoon gave me chills!
No mas, we've had it.
And as a followup to this, the League of Woman Voters Executive Director Jan Czarnik has called it “phony patriotism”.
Anyone who had a doubt as to what the League of Women Voters is before this, should have a clear picture now.
Nice to see that electronic devices are banned from open forums. A tactic clearly designed to prevent stuff exactly such as this.
There is no doubt that this is going viral.
Bean? Wasn’t she the one that sicced one of her security goons on a man that was asking her “uncomfortable” questions at a town hall a while back?
Take that, league of women vipers.
“Wasnt she the one that sicced one of her security goons on a man”
That’s the Bean.
Patriot BUMP!
Yep! That was a great American moment. Glad it was caught on tape
