Priceless!
Here is video of an Illinois crowd spontaneously rising to their feet to say the Pledge of Allegiance, even though the League of Women Voters Moderator had said they had no plan to do so. A man calls for a point of order to ask the moderator if they are going to say the Pledge, to which the moderator said, No we are not. As the moderator tried to explain why they would not be saying the Pledge the crowd rose to their feet and began saying the Pledge!
Republican Joe Walsh candidate for Illinois 8th Congressional District says in the video that this was the best part of the entire forum! He is opposing incumbent Democrat Rep. Melissa Bean. God bless these patriots!
Here's the link to the video. !

I avoid FB like the plague but do have a sizeable group I email things to, which they send on to others on their own email lists. And they send me stuff to be passed along. One way to ‘edjumacate’ the masses. LOL! FR’s certainly kept me busy - it’s a treasure trove of info.
And gems like this video!

Well, I kinda got sucked in to the FB thing because I started
playing Mafia Wars. LOL! Ridiculous, yes. LOL!
Things like these videos make life worth living. To know that’
even in a hotbed of democrat corruption Americans still stand
up for the right things makes me proud! Glad I could share it
with you. I sent it to some of my e-mail buddies, too! :D
(((hugs)))...to you!
You still have all your kitties? :)

Good for the crowd!
I’ve never viewed them as anything but liberal.

The only disappointing thing about this video is that they did not show the look on the face of the Obamoid who was running program when the crowd took charge and said the pledge. Amazing how many people who follow Obama have such contempt for their own country. If I were in that crowd, the event would not have continued until she left the podium. It's time they hear from us.

Yes, this Kathy Tate-Brandish moderator (that hyphenated surname is commonly a red flag for a leftist woman), who objected to the recitation of the Pledge, also hosted an Obama for president event at her home in Evanston, IL back in 2007!
Does the League of Women Voters still call itself "non-partisan"? It's about as "non-partisan" as NOW or NARAL.

Does the League of Women Voters still call itself "non-partisan"? It's about as "non-partisan" as NOW or NARAL.Well...yes, but, I think much depends on the local chapter. There are a couple in Michigan that I would say tilt "R" or actually try to stay nonpartisan.
The League of Women Voters is a nonpartisan organization established in 1920 to encourage citizen participation in government. It never supports or opposes any political party or candidate but does advocate on selected issues.
That LWV was formed during the Progressive 20's is a sort of red flag for me. ;)
