Dick Morris Talks U.S. Senate Predictions with O’Reilly – Video

Here is video of political consultant Dick Morris on with Bill O’Reilly tonight, where he discussed his predictions for the U.S. Senate races in the upcoming Midterm Elections. He started talking with O’Reilly about the Senate at around the 2:40 mark of the video.

Morris still believes the Republicans we get the 10-seat net gain needed to retake control of the U.S. Senate. Morris said that California will be a “50-50 vote,” meaning it will be “Thursday” before we know who wins between Fiorina and Boxer. He gives a slight edge right now to Patty Murray in Washington over Rossi, and thinks Toomey will win the Senate race in Pennsylvania. In Delaware, he gives the edge to Coons – although he does believe O’Donnell has a chance there. McMahon could still take Connecticut, and he believes Republicans will win the seats in Wisconsin, West Virginia, and Illinois.

Morris is strangely over enthusiastic about the Republican takeover... That’s okay though...nobody else is and he could make himself “the man to go to” if he is right...

Watching the replay now. As much as I’d love to bellieve Morris and his forecasts, I can’t help remembering when he said Hillary would easily defeat Obama and would be the next President and we could take that to the bank.

Hillary would have easily won the nomination, except, she ( and Morris, apparently) didn't count on the run away fraud in the caucus states.

That’s what he says today. He’ll say 3 other things by election day and then say he was right.

I think he’s right when he says don’t count CT out - we’re tired of the ads and the attacks and the tactics along with everyone else, but mostly we can’t wait to vote! Nothing is changing our mind, no last minute pick up — we can’t wait. Was it Morris who said if CT goes, look out! I think CT is going to be one the many shots heard around the world next week.

O’Reilly kept interrupting Morris and acted like Morris wasn’t worthy to be on the show.
That said, Dick Morris is optimistic and that we don’t hear much anymore.
In discussion with other’s at a Tea Party Rally recently, most felt that there is a ruse by the LASM in early October, that all the polls from various sources piled on negative polls to reduce turn out at the polls.

“I can’t help remembering when he said Hillary would easily defeat Obama and would be the next President “

He did say that.

But at the same time he was shooting his mouth off well over a year ahead of time. He had underestimated the deviousness of Obama’s team, not expecting them to sneak in and capture the caucus votes.

He’s not prognosticating this time, he’s just analyzing what he thinks is the most likely scenario, given the polling and the overall attitude.

And yes, I agree, I’m being a bit overly optimistic.

For a former Dem, Morris is a pretty good Republican.

O’RILEY is a blowhard. Morris is a toe sucker. Somewhere in this ‘discussion’ is an opinion by a man with a track record. Unfortunately it’s filled with some wishful thinking.

I also noted that O’Really cited one poll in PA as showing Sestak winning and ran with it like it was bible. I went to RCP after the Morris segment and noted that Toomey is doing quite well.

What I believe is going on now is that the MSM is running the following type of stories: 1)the usual that ignores polls where the dem is behing instead focusing on one poll to declare the democrat “ahead” and 2) planting stories that say even if Republicans win they will still not give the voters what they want, i.e. they will compromise with Obama.

Typical tactics from the MSM and it seems Ted Baxter bought it hook line and sinker.

Morris has been consistent about the GoP having an outstanding night in November, I will give him that much.

I am with you Gizzy we can’t wait to vote! The Democrat Senate Chairwoman, Nancy DiNardo, had the nerve to file a complaints with the State Election Enforcement Committee against Foley (running for Governor), and Linda McMahon (running for Senate to beat Blumenthal) for nothing but political reasons to get on the news!

“Planting stories that say even if Republicans win they will still not give the voters what they want, i.e. they will compromise with Obama”.
You are exactly right.
Sick of listening to the spin machine from the media.
We will get out the vote!! The momentum is huge!!!

“O’Reilly kept interrupting Morris”.
What? I’ve never seen BOR interrupt anyone or talk over them or give the last word without letting them finish a thought. You must be mistaken! :-)

The two polls showing this anomaly have been debunked as leftist push polls.

Ted Baxter is a nit wit and dismisses Morris because he thinks he’s smarter. O’Really is a narcissistic dope like his hero Obama.

Funny, but I never noticed until tonight while Morris was on O’Riley, that Fox is calling him a “Republican Strategist”

I always thought they referred to him as just as an “analyst” or a “political analyst.” Funny how sometimes something just pops up at you.
