Self-ping for later read, but this seems to be echoing my own fears. I recall the strutting and taunting that accompanied the 2004 election, too. (And, similarly, I recall how every time W added to the Imperial Presidency, I would be told it was okay since the Executive would be held by Republicans in perpetuity. Ha!)

OK. This is a must read for every FReeper and TEA Party supporter. Somehow this article must be spread far and wide in the blogosphere.

Great analysis. Here are two of the tell-tale signs to watch for. If either of these happens, we could well be in for another Do-Nothing Republican Majority:
1. The GOP in the Senate retains His Ladyship McConnell as their leader. He needs to be told now, “Either you drop the disgusting, insulting ‘senatorial courtesy” crap and go out and campaign against your buddy Reid — or you are dead meat.” Then, even if he does, they still need to deep-six him.
2. Boehner becomes Speaker of the House and stands up in the well to say gracious things about that commie witch Pelosi. If that happens — and I hope and pray it will not — it means that all of the old Washington insider rules remain in place.
We face a time of testing.

This should at least be on the sidebar under ‘Editorial’ or something.

Apparently the “rules” committee’s are going to be dominated by RINO’s, which will ensure that the pro-majority rules of the Democrats will be changed to give the minority party more say

Somebody on the right needs to challenge Bonehead or they aren’t paying enough attention!

It has already been decided for us by the elite. Romney will be the Rep nominee.

Something needs to be done about the open primaries that take place in some of the early states. This is our #1 issue for 2012, IMO.

" The Republicans take back the Senate and not only win the House, but garner a historic mandate of 260-270 seats. The electoral battlefield is riddled with the dead carcasses of socialist giants like Barbara Boxer, Dingy Reid, Patty Murray, Russ Feingold, Lisa Murkowski, Charlie Crist, and scores of others"You had me at carcasses

Well crafted screed here... thanks..
The T-P Caucus will remain growing in scope and depth..
If the new republican electees do not eliminate the federal government in some major way(in 2010-2012) the caucus will implode or become a joke.. The elected RINO(elite) must be watched like a hawk and a doable tactic of reverse engineering federal government and even State and Local government must be invented..
De-funding and Under-funding federal government must become a new art to republicans.. Maybe Reverse-Cloward-Piven.. would the way to go... fighting fire with back fire..
There's is little doubt that Cloward-Piven WORKS, to say it doesnt is denial..

The difference between now and then is that in 1994 we elected Republicans. Next month we will elect conservatives.
