Coulter articles are excerpted, as well as Malkins and many more that don't require it.

Neither of those excellent writers excerpt their own material here just in order to get blog hits.

And neither one of them post their articles here.

But they do appreciate excerpts so that people will go to their websites.

To see other articles and information on their sites, and also to click on some of their advertizing.

Exactly the same as bloggers do.

Most of them have links to other articles of theirs, as well as links to other conservative sites.

If a blogger just posts a link to their site to see a video, I don't like that either.

But if they write original commentary of their own, I see no problem with that.

It happens with Hotair, Malkin, Brietbart and many other sites that are posted here.

"And others have seen the light, changed their ways, and are given praise, bumps and hits. True story."
I haven't noticed that, that's good.

I have seen some that have changed their ways, and they still are vilified.

Usually for posting an excerpt instead of the full article.

One was chastized for posting an excerpt, when the article was 4 pages long.

Personally I don't like super long articles in the thread body, I'd rather click on the site if I am interested in the rest of the article.

Like I do with Coulter and others.

And neither one of them post their articles here.

But we have blogpimps that do.
I've seen them excerpt after two paragraphs, and after clicking..one more paragraph.

It's a marketing ploy. And not a terribly clever one. They want hits.

They use us as free advertising, part of a business model.

The majority of offenders are 2009 vintage. Johnny don't like that, yo.
