Glenn Beck tells his fans and followers not to use hatred when defending him. On yesterday’s Glenn Beck Show on Fox News Channel, Beck returned after taking a short absence to try to get to the bottom of his medical problem. He looked straight into the camera and then assured his loyal viewers that all of the worst possibilities—like lupus, MS, or even cancer—were completely ruled out. However, Beck then abruptly switched his monologue to his sense of shock and horror at his discovery that liberal bloggers were writing post after post that wished him to die in the most awful way possible. Beck then did something even more shocking: He scolded his own fans and followers for what they were doing in apparent defense of him, which was posting hateful messages back to the liberal bloggers, telling them that they ought to be "rounded up."

maybe I agree that engaging these animals on their sites is juvenile and not productive....
but I don't know now if Beck believes we are heading for the 2nd coming sooner than we think or our whole world is going to be turned upside down with war, faminie,strife, etc...
are we preparing for both?

Really? I HATE that. Sounds just like the left. ‘Hatred’ is only OK if you are hating on whites and Western culture. GFY.
Glenn is right, however. We shouldn't "hate". Mad, yes, hate? No. Its just useless. Hasn't done the hate filled Liberals any good. Hate doesn't create votes anyway, or we would have had President Kerry.

....Beck is starting to put himself on levels where more important people belong....he needs to step down a rung or two and stop counting his money.

And it pulls the focus away from the socialist takeover of America. If we spend our time defending him, we aren’t spending our time trying to stop what is happening to our nation. Liberals are making these personal attacks against Beck because they can’t counter what he is saying: He is right and they are wrong. So they go to plan B: Attack Beck and wish him dead. Spewing hatred at these libs is playing right into their hands.
I can’t stand his preaching and his sermons are too long, repetitive and boring.
Yep. I watched yesterday and felt somewhat guilty. I need to tone it down . . . but it’s so hard!
I agree and really can’t listen to him anymore.
He confuses me, too..The thing which confuses me most is his declaration that Obama has genuine beliefs about what is good for all of us and that is where he is coming from. Last night, he disagreed with Ben Stein’s belief that Obama is angry and envious of those who have worked hard and earned wealth in this nation and is determined to confiscate that wealth and give it to those who did not earn it. Glen Beck, himself, taught just this week that people gain in one of two ways in this life. They either gain through being personally responsible and going out there to put their ideas into practice and working hard or they gain through lying, cheating and stealing what others have worked hard to make. Those of us who are extremely disturbed about what Obama, the Democratic Congress and his Czars are doing to America do not see them having personal responsibility as a value, but rather, the ability to see who can steal the most from the tax payer and get away with it. I realize that what Glen has to deal with everyday insofar as the historical revelations of the Progressive movement and what they are doing and, even scarier, where it all is bound to end, is very stressful..It is war and to comprehend what it could mean for the future is just awful. Glen is absolutely correct in his conclusion that the restoration of God’s law in our hearts is the answer..He is also correct that we might be facing some terrible times in spite of everything because of what the politicians have done to us. Taking responsibility for ourselves now, even for those of us who are willing, is a difficult thing with the heavy hand of big government trying to tell us when we can go to the bathroom. Glen has told us to “Speak without fear,” and now, I wonder whether his health problems and the threats against him and his family are getting to him so that he is backing off. I pray not and I hope not. I just hope he does not begin to whitewash the true intentions of the left as it seems he may be doing for Obama for we believe the most radical of that group would viciously destroy the nation and large segments of this population if they could..History is a guide and we should listen. When people face potentially serious health issues, they can be thrown off center. I believe Glen will rebound for his job is too important to allow “powers and principalities” to hinder his work.

yep. He thinks the popular revolt we’re engaged in is all about him and all because of him. I’ve got news for him, this has been brewing for decades...it just takes a whole lot to get Americans pissed off but once that fuse is lit watch out.
I’ve never appreciated his schtick and hate his school master approach to things but that’s just me. I give him credit for bringing some things to the forefront and for his excellent timing in jumping on the Tea Party bandwagon.
I watched that episode last night and was like “What? These people are disingenuous and are deliberately eroding OUR freedom for their gain...Screw them”! I am sorry, but these people should be charged with Treason and thrown in jail.... Our forefathers would have treated them much more harsh for these treasonous acts they have performed. Glenn, should we tolerate these treasonous acts so the next generation accepts it?
However, Beck may be trying to drive the point home of “Don’t be like them.. don’t hate enough to kill.”
