“No. Saul Alinsky tactics were working then. They dont now.”
To what do you attribute that? MSM doesn’t educate people. First time I ever heard of Alinsky was on FR.
It does not matter that the MSM are not reporting on Alinsky and Clinton/Obama ties.
The American public is no longer falling for Obama and the dems demonizing and attacking everyone and the boogey man blame game.
Well, for one thing, a lot fewer people rely on the MSM now. For another thing, the Alinksy info has been repeated on the internet in a lot more places than Free Republic, which has a substantial following anyway.
For a third thing, our side is now using Alinsky tactics against the Obama left.
Alinsky's methods were largely predicated on the expectation that his side would be a fringe bunch of crazies forever. His writings of the 1960's didn't take into account the eventual take-over, by the student radicals he helped give rise to, of the universities, the media, the philanthropic organizations, the educational system, the unions, and the government.
His "rules for radicals" were rules for a guerilla insurgency against "the power structure." Now his people are "the power structure," and, so become vulnerable to his own tactics.
BTW speaking Of Hillary’s Alinsky ties. Her NOT campaigning for dems and Obama now (big article on Drudge yesterday) is a SURE sign she plans on taking Obama’s job; what do you think?
“First time I ever heard of Alinsky was on FR.”
Not Alinsky himself, but his tactics aren’t working - like ‘isolate’ and ‘ridicule’ and ‘overwhelm the system.’ I think the suggestion is that whole segments of the population that the socialists tried to manipulate are finally pushing or even fighting back. So the Alinsky tactics themselves are what are no longer working.
True ‘nuff that FR is on the bleeding edge of the battle - so Saul Alinsky himself is familiar to us.
