Sources: Brown's Wife Called Whitman a "Whore"

In the last few days Democrat Jerry Brown's gubernatorial campaign has been doing damage control after someone close to him was heard calling his Republican rival Meg Whitman a "whore."

In the immediate aftermath, it was assumed that it was one of Brown's assistants who uttered the derogatory phrase. However, new sources reveal that it may have been someone much closer to Brown: his wife.

According to anonymous sources close to Brown, it was his wife Anne who called Whitman a "whore." When asked about the quote, the source inadvertently said that it was Brown's wife when stating, "The person who said that word is someone who can't be fired... Jerry's wife can't be fired."

I imagine Browns wife would know full well just what a whore is.

Well, to be fair, I don’t think anyone who aspires to ‘senator’ should balk at ‘whore’.

Drat. ‘senator’ = ‘governor’.

Nothing will happen to him. democrats enjoy immunity from shame because they don’t give a hoot. If a normal person had said this it would be all over CNN 24/7, until the normal person groveled in apology and resigned.
A democrat does it, and he gets admiration from fellow democrats.

What we need to do is to find out where Brown’s wife was on the day of the taped conversation. It shouldn’t be that hard to find out.

If she was out-of-town or at some function, it should be pretty easy to debunk this “claim”

I agree with the other posts that say that blaming a woman for the slur makes the slur ‘less egregious’ than if it came from a man. The time elapsed between the comment and the purported circumstance makes it highly suspect.

Makes sense they’d try to blame it on a woman. His “wife” has a very deep voice. But this is San Francisco.

It sounded exactly like Gov. Moonbeam's voice....tone, inflection, everything.

Where are all the experts who do forensic voice analysis? There should be ONE volunteer willing to step up to the plate to analyze.

It should be easy as pie to identify if it's Brown's voice because the recording is not garbled or anything like that.

That would be interesting to get, someone who would be able to know his voice by simply hearing it. The message is a little garbled, but nothing really bad.

I’ve listened to the audio a few times and to me, it sounds as tho’ there are two people talking and one voice finishes it with “whore”.... That’s what my ears heard. I don’t hear a female voice at all.

I think they are trying to soften the blow. A man calling her a whore has more meaning than a woman calling her a whire.

However, that means that Jerry’s wife is a classless lowlife.

As a side note” who knew Brown was married!

Oh my! The Brown-Gust wedding must’ve been a hoot! A high-powered Gust from the Gap? That could just about knock’em over!

Of course: he’s a Democrat - blame the woman!

Used to be called 'hiding behind a woman's skirt'... guess the MSM won't use that term for a dem...

Any man who’d throw his wife under the bus like that is a classless lowlife too, lol!

I’ve listened to the audio. There’s no woman talking unless Brown’s wife is a guy which I wouldn’t doubt.

"The person who said that word is someone who can't be fired..."

Which is true. You won't have much of a campaign if you fire the campaigner ...
