I make a huge batch every Thanksgiving and Christmas using turkey instead of chicken, which has the added benefit of tryptophan. I use Yaya's recipe.

'Course there were times back when Granny was making it, she (and we) sometimes had to do with chicken soup with no chicken.

I make the Dom DeLuise “Rag Soup”. Instead of chop meat I use ground chicken for the mini meatballs. I don't think Dom would have approved but I skeeve chop meat.

French onion soup is one of the great pleasures of my life; rich beefy broth, sweet soft onions, buttery bread, and gooey crusty cheese, Really, how could you not like this? It is ultimate comfort food

We used to make it at home all the time.
The only hard part is making all the meat balls.

I like Olive Garden’s Fagioli soup, but #1 has to be venison stew.

Borscht! There was a hotel in Moscow that served it three times a day with each meal. Man, that was good stuff!
