***when no matter what was mentioned, a Russian had discovered it first.***
Including the Yokumberry tonic in the movie LI’L ABNER!
Trying to make Muslims more palatable to Americans?
A big waste of time.
But watch for it coming to school textbooks near you very soon.
If I were native American Indians, I would be so outraged, I could spit.
I have a great deal of respect for our native Americans especially nowadays. I think in the past century many native Americans have made many great contributions to this country especially in the fields of endeavors of sports and in our military.
It seems that Tumba is unable/unwilling to answer your question. You see, objective evidence keeps traffic AWAY from his blog, and it is more important to him that his blog should receive hits than for his fellow Freepers to be able to examine the evidence objectively.
I would love to see some objective evidence; unfortunately, at this time, it doesn’t look like Tumba is willing to provide it.
This is a few years old, but I hope you will find this edifying:
NY PUBLIC SCHOOL MADRSSA:
“MUSLIMS DISCOVERED AMERICA”
http://atlasshrugs2000.typepad.com/atlas_shrugs/2007/08/ny-public-sch-5.html
So which is it? "Public school madrassas", or ordinary US public school textbooks?
The title of the article leads one to think that this lunacy is printed in widely distributed US public school textbooks.
Please don't tell me that there really is such a thing as a "public school madrassa".
Articles appeared on this topic before 2007, but here’s one from CFP:
“Happy Columbus Day: Muslims discovered America”
By Judi McLeod Wednesday, October 10, 2007

There was a case several years ago about Muslims discovering America in a K-12 textbook.
In addition, if you reference Islam in America for 200 years, you’ll find that governmental fellowships AND MONEY FOR GRANTS are going out wide and fast right now.
“NEH Awards Initial Grants in its Bridging Cultures Program
The National Endowment for the Humanities (NEH) recently announced the first in a series of Bridging Cultures grants, awarding a total of $1.7 million that will enable humanities experts to launch public discussions addressing two pressing concerns: the role of civility in democracy and the understanding of Muslim contributions to world cultures.”

When they’re done, America will have been determined to have been formed by representatives of the House of Sa’ud before the ascendancy of Harun Al-Rashid (that is, around the year 800....) and will probably be referenced in a little known, newly-discovered chapter of the “1001 Nights.”
Thanks!
I've got a good cyber friend who is a devout Christian and a staunch conservative. She emails me tons of interesting things, but every so often, she sends me something that instantly goes in the "ridiculous hoax" bin.
Tumba needs to do better than simply post his/her recollections of some video he/she's seen, given how outlandish the claim is.
I'm sorry, but I'm not buying that public school textbooks in America are in circulation around the country with such an obvious falsehood in them.
We all know how liberals love to re-write American history, but this is too far out, even for them.
Fascinating. You have the time to plagiarize from Wikipedia, but have not provided objective answers to those who have asked you to do so.
Are you, Sir, more interested in blog hits or in the free dissemination of information?
