Everything said in this cartoon is as relevant today as it was in 1948. Communism, giving up freedom for “security”, disunity based on class divisions of racial hatred, etc. The snake oil salesman even reminds me of Obama. Then notice how far our standards of living have fallen relative to the rest of the world since 1948.

Every American needs to be reminded of that.
