White House Insider: Obama Battling Severe Depression
NewsFlavor ^ | 9/27/2010 | Ulsterman

Posted on 09/29/2010 9:11:32 PM PDT by Callahan

So you state that President Obama is depressed?  How did you come by this information?  From a direct source still working within the White House on a daily basis.  As I had stated previously, tensions at the White House have reached a critical stage.  The infighting among staff is off the charts.  More recently, the president has increasingly withdrawn emotionally from the day to day demands of his job – he has become what was described to me as “empty”.

Empty?  That is correct – empty.

....

But still…(interrupting) I would also add what you well know.  I have been quite accurate on my previous discussions with you. I indicated there would be a mass exodus of staff from the White House days and even weeks prior to those leaving became public.  Larry, David, Rahm, and more have or are in the process of leaving.  Your readers need only check the dates of when you published with the public announcements of those departures to confirm that fact.  I have been very truthful.  I indicated Pelosi was under intense pressure and challenge from within her own party.  That has also proven to be accurate.  What I have told you to date has been the very thing that has developed surrounding the White House – and what I am telling you now is also just as accurate.

Most depression is caused by a feeling of inadequacy which is caused by a sense of responsibility.

I’m buying a half gallon of neopolitan each week. If Barry isn’t gone soon, I’ll need a front-end loader to get me out of bed. I quit smokin’ a few years ago ... and now I’m regretting it.

His purple lips are a classic sign of oxygen deprivation from asthmatic lungs. The guy is a chain smoker
+++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++

Absurdity! I’m a smoker and I do not have blue lips nor do I have ashthmatic lungs. BTW, I worked over 30 years in the O.R. and E.R. as a Registered Nurse so don’t play me.

This guy is not making it through the term. Check the archives. I predicted this in January and June of last year. He is a wreck and his marriage appears on the rocks. The quote from Michelle about hating being first lady is dead on accurate. His life has turned into a pile of excrement.

You can pick the reason he leaves, but it will be voluntary. He is finished. By the end of the year he will have a complete breakdown. Malignant narcissistic sociopaths can’t handle rejection or defeat. And on such a scale as a complete national repudiation, once the break occurs, he will never be the same. Of coursecwe will never be told of his break, just like with Woodrow Wilson. But it’s coming and all the Prozac in the world won’t stop it.

And Hillary coming out to revitalize the party will be a complete failure. This house of cards is coming down for the count. Already his enemies are circling. 100 seats in the house, 8 to 13 in the senate. Better than a Greek tragedy.

I would not be surprised if a lot of this stuff is somewhat true but it’s reads as though it has been fabricated. The previous pieces in the last couple of weeks had the same feel. There’s nothing in here that proves it’s credible or authentic.

From WebMD:

What Are the Main Causes of Depression?

There are a number of factors that may increase the chance of depression, including the following:

Abuse. Past physical, sexual, or emotional abuse can cause depression later in life.

Certain medications. For example, some drugs used to treat high blood pressure, such as beta-blockers or reserpine, can increase your risk of depression.

Conflict. Depression may result from personal conflicts or disputes with family members or friends.

Death or a loss. Sadness or grief from the death or loss of a loved one, though natural, can also increase the risk of depression.

Genetics. A family history of depression may increase the risk. It’s thought that depression is passed genetically from one generation to the next. The exact way this happens, though, is not known.

Major events. Even good events such as starting a new job, graduating, or getting married can lead to depression. So can moving, losing a job or income, getting divorced, or retiring.

Other personal problems. Problems such as social isolation due to other mental illnesses or being cast out of a family or social group can lead to depression.

Serious illnesses. Sometimes depression co-exists with a major illness or is a reaction to the illness.

Substance abuse. Nearly 30% of people with substance abuse problems also have major or clinical depression.

I can see how he’s depressed. He’s like a gay who cannot come out fearing that people around him might not like him anymore. He’s an anti-colonialist, anti-capitalist, and anti-American who has to pretend that he’s none of them for the sake of him being in the White House. Because he knows that once he declares that he’s one of those, he loses his re-election.

No because the shift in power has been handled before and there is continuity in it. It may happen before in order to have an sympathy effect on the elections. (this is wild guessing on my part)

But if you look at his behavior and the handlers around him leaving, basically you have a shell of a man that has to make decisions that effect the entire world at a moments notice. Right now he can barely function. It is scaring those who are left and they will pull the trigger (metaphorically) and begin to move him out. He will go off to hawaii or marthas vineyard in seclusion.

One thing is for certain, the rats are jumping ship. That has to scare the hell out of Obama. He's no leader and he feels no sense of a captain's responsibility to “go down with the ship”.

And, if Michelle is truly hating life, she'll make his a living hell.

It’s not just Bo’s condition, true or not, it’s they all see what’s ahead and not just the elections. They have no control over the economic conditions in our country, nor do they have the answers they are willing to enact. They know what’s coming and they are going to let anything they haven’t already torn down..fall down..and let the Republican win take the heat and clean up the mess....then they’ll surely be back to continue with their agenda and claim they revived the entire country.

Ohh for crying out loud !
For heaven's sake !.

That's all we need now having the Joint Chiefs of Staff wrestling the nuclear foot ball away from Obama saying:

" Obama ? step away from the nuclear football before you input some nuclear codes and send some nukes flying. "

while the Secret Service is fighting the Joint Chiefs of Staff.
