The ONLY reason to have interfaith dialog with Islamics is for evangelistic purposes.
American Christians should be using the influx of Moslems to America as an Evangelical opportunity. Evangelize them. Bring them to the full knowledge and love of Jesus Christ.

Someone has started praying at the alter of “diversity”, not Jesus Christ. Islam teaches that Jesus did not die on the Cross but that someone else took his place or he was rescued. Kinda like some sort of "Holy Blood, Holy Grail", "DaVinci Code" concoction. Nor do they believe in the Trinity or that you can even dare to call God, Father or that He is a loving God.
Not much 'dialog' gonna happen with those obstacles.

Worse, he’s a “liberal” that claims the name of Christ.
He’s probably one of those that believes that he can pick and choose what he takes as truth from the Bible, in essence setting himself up as a higher authority than the Bible.

Oh, for Pete’s sake, they will never get read if they hand them out at mainline Protestant churches or whereever.
[Face palm ...] Not that there’s any wrong with a bunch of those gathering dust on church library shelves.
But, seriously, it would be hard to “dialog” based on something as irrational as the Koran.
