We were at war with Vietnam thirty years ago and now we are having them compete in elections. Times have changed but are we ready?????
Liberal Hispanics think that only Hispanics can be immigrants and that conservatives think that only Hispanics can be illegal immigrants.

One of the reasons that I study Spanish is to know the enemy. The bile that is put out in the Spanish language media is really bad. They think we don’t know what they are planning to do to this country.
Why WOULDN'T they compete in elections? Why wouldn't America be ready for them to run?
I guess.....I am not in this district so I don’t have a dog in the fight but it seems like we would be fighting tooth and nail if it was a Muslim.
I guess everyone is cool with Iraqi and Afgani immigrants to run too???? I just think it is dangerous.

What Sanchez overlooks is Vietnamese KNOW about communism and socialism in general.. They paid large blood for the education..

I guess nothing according to you. Hopefully they learned from their mistakes.
Everyone on this forum knows that illegal immigration - and mass Third World immigration since 1965 - is my major interest.
But I live in California and as I write there are 3 Vietnamese engineers within 20 feet of me.
They are the sons and daughters of the ARVN, pro-Western South Vietnamese, and real refugees from the Communist holocaust that took place after May 1975.
They vote Republican. They have no illusions about Socialism. Many of them made it here with nothing.
Some are ethnic hustlers, it's true. Bad apples in every bunch.
But of all people who came to this country since 1965, most of these people are the most vociferously pro-American. None of this "ju stole our land" crap like Loretta "MexiBigot" Brixey Sanchez.
Tran is a good antidote to her. If anything, he exposes her for what she is. She is also on military committees and has access to classified information, which is abominable in her case. It's like handing it to the President of Mexico, who she refers to as "the President" - as if that were her nation!
Which of course it is.
Their mistake of resisting Communism?
