Professor Green is not too bright, is he? The military hasn't DRAFTED anyone in years! Those who VOLUTNEER to join the military know exactly what they're doing, and exactly what could happen to them. They are also the best trained military force on the planet, and thousands fewer have died as a result of that training. I'd think they deserve some strong, vocal support from everyone, especially goobers like Prof. Green who's ignorant rear end is being protected by them, but he's too busy harping on the fiction that we went to Iraq and Afghanistan to 'control oil'. If that's the case, why are we still paying through the nose for crude oil, and as a result, gasoline?

Well, let’s see Mr. Green... illegals cross our borders and receive free housing, free food, free medical care and wind up crowding our prisons, having committed crimes like murder and rape. Isn’t this the result of “state sponsorship”, especially as states which try to STOP this nonsense are PREVENTED from doing so by the Hussein regime??!!! And blacks, who for 60 years have been supported from cradle to grave by taxpayers...14% of the population responsible for at LEAST 50% of reported crimes, many of which are MURDER, isn’t THAT state sponsorship??? Green needs to review his facts. Whether you agree with the conflicts in Iraq and Afghanistan, they are legal wars. IF he can prove that these conflicts are illegal, he needs to file a legal suit. As others have pointed out, we do not have a draft. It is an all volunteer force in which many will receive educational benefits. It is a way out of poverty. Whatever happened to free speech? It seems that Green only believes that he has the right to express his views, but those horrible patriots do not. Is Green the best that Illinois has to offer?
If the war is for oil, where the hell is all the oil? Why the hell would we go all the way to the middle east, risk blood and treasure, the lives of our noblest citizens and years worth of deficits when we could take over Mexico or Canada, neither of which have military forces worth speaking about in comparison and are right next door?
