D'Souza made no statement about spending time on what matters. The sentence in the article states:

So?...Hm?...How exactly did D'Souza know "explicitly" that Obama was born in Hawaii? Has he seen the long form birth certificate? Also,...There is far, far, far, more to natural born citizenship than where one was born.

What matters is where Obama is coming from, not where he was born.
You have to rely on the voters to filter out the likes of Obama, not the Constitution. Even in the highly unlikely event Obama were not eligible under the Constitution, he just as easily could have been.
I don't think so. His article is from his forthcoming book, The Roots of Obama's Rage, due out October 4. Hopefully, he mentions Ms Ikenga's work there.

The overwhelming likelihood is that the facts stated on the Hawaii short form (an abstract of the long form, certified by a state official) are true as far as they go. Thus, D'Souza is exactly right to call birtherism a diversion. Birtherism actually helps Obama because it makes his opponents look like a bunch of crackpots while stealing attention from the real issues. Even if birtherism suddenly turned out to be true, it wouldn't matter, since it would then be up to Pelosi and Reid and the 'Rat Congress to remove Obama.
D’Sousa isn't very bright then ( regardless of what others may think of his IQ).
In my small town there are announcements **EVERY WEEK** of children born, deaths, and marriages of people who do not live here but, instead, live in distance places. The announcements are placed in our paper merely to inform friends and neighbors of the happy ( or sad) event.
There is only one way to know with any certainty that Obama was born in Hawaii is to examine the long form birth certificate. Has D’Sousa done this? Wow!
Finally, D’Sousa must be gullible beyond belief if he trusts and Internet COLB and newspaper announcements posted by Obots.
Gee! The next time I need my license renewed, I'll get a COLB and newspaper announcement and post it on the Internet. Yeah! Let's see how far that gets with DMV! ( Sitting here laughing!)
