Real Clear Politics reporting of the polling in the Murray vs. Rossi Senate race shows that in less than one month there has been a 16 point swing in Murray's favor. An August 18-19 Survey USA poll showed Rossi with a 7 point lead. A CNN/Time poll take September 9-14 showed Murray with a 9 point lead. So, in less than a month, Rossi has lost 16 points an implosion by most definitions.
This is Rossi's third try at state-wide office. If he doesn't win this time, he's deservedly finished.

Things ain’t looking so good. Can Rossi pull his nuts out of the fire?
Did Cornyn and his cohorts bring Rossi in this race?
Look more closely at the methodology and sampling. It’s skewed towards Murray. With turnout and passion in our favor, now is not the time to go all wobbly.
What the heck is going on? He should have been governor and now he can’t even beat Murray in this miserable economy?
Only a dead carp should lose to the charisma-less Murray. The question is: Is Dino a dead carp? He was last time against Gregoire.
I assume that's a rhetorical question.
They are comparing apples to oranges. Comparing a USA Today poll to a CNN/Time poll is inevitably going to show a false trend.
There’s a reason the GOP is called the Stupid Party.
I thought the moderates, the RINOs, the establishment candidates, were the electable ones
I agree. People should calm down on a poll like this. The trend nationally is still excellent and will be so these last six-weeks.
Realclear is an ‘average’ of polls isn’t it??
As a matter of fact, he was the establishment guy. Not sure why, but it is what it is. Hopefully he’ll get a fire under his butt real soon.
Please folks... Disregard this and continue as planned. This is bunk and most know it. Just stay the course. Geez, don’t let the media control this process...
“Yet the Seattle Times is reporting that the National Republican Congressional Committee hasnt reserved any television ad time in the Seattle market, while the Democrats have already reserved $1 million of ad time.”
He ran a piss-poor campaign in his rematch against Gregoire in 08. Hopefully, he’s got some new advisors. He’s not a bad guy, just a milquetoast, IMO.
I plan on voting for him. But maybe a few allies telling him to bump it up a notch would be a good thing
This poll is garbage. Rossi deserves our support.
Pissant: I am from Washington and I watch the news pretty closely. I have yet to see Rossi come out swinging. What exactly is he doing? You are right, he is a milquetoast and he let Gregoire walk all over him.
