He alluded to this himself in the clip that Ed posted earlier, but since hes now being treated as some sort of cancer on the party for daring to say that ODonnells a flawed candidate, lets flesh out the facts a bit. If, as Jeri Thompson suggests, Rove has a double standard for tea-party women, why is he spending boatloads of cash to help someone who, until 48 hours ago, was the most famous woman tea-party candidate in America?
Sure, the fact that he hates Harry Reid is part of it. But what does that prove? Everyone hates Harry Reid.

Nope, I wouldn’t have voted for either of them. Both are robbing you blind - one with votes in Congress, the other by not paying their taxes.
Just interesting to see conservatives have no problem electing tax cheats to Congress. Isn’t that the problem with Timmy “the tax cheat” Geither, and Charlie “free tax pass” Rangel?
Tell me how you can justify voting for someone who’s admitted not paying their income taxes (to the point of having an IRS lien), and admitted to not reporting all their income?
It’s just amazing... So many here say “NO RINOS!” because they want ideological purity. Yet here’s a case of an actual, admitted TAX CHEAT being supported because she says the right words. Apparently for many the words matter, not the actions.
So how about justifying electing a tax cheat? Castle’s a liberal Republican (ACU rating is 52 - in the squishy middle), but at least he’s not a tax cheat and fraud. For many, I guess it’s more important to talk the talk than walk the walk...
Basically, I’m saying he ‘lost it’ on FNC not just once but twice.
I feel there is no excuse for what he did and his future as an analyst for conservatives is blotto.
Once I could see. Twice indicates motive.

As of a week ago, it was still reported she had NOT paid her tax lien. She’s also admitted not reporting all her income from the “odd jobs” she’s worked (also tax fraud).
So, TTBOMK, she still has not paid her back taxes. Kind of deflates the entire conservative push against Rangel and Geithner as tax cheats, doesn’t it?
Who do you support in the Delaware election....
“If that was his analysis he could still be gracious AFTER the primary.”
I agree.
This coming election is proving to be ‘electric’, with a dynamic hard to predict and resembling a crap shoot that’s mostly coming up “Tea Party”.
If O’Donnell gets lots of monetary support she will win this election because voters pay attention to advertisements.
If she blows-away Coons in any debates, that will add to her percentage points.
The opposition can lie about her, smear her reputation, but in the end only alienate the majority of voters.
I hope she wins and wins big come this November.
Yep. Karl is redolent with the odor of desperation.
No it doesn’t. She has paid her debts and sure as hell isn’t a non-elective like Timmy boy. Rangel has forgotten his income and properties. So you have no candidate in Delaware I take it.
So being a tax cheat is OK, if you cheated when you couldn’t vote for tax laws?
Sorry, but actions speak louder than words. Christine may say the right things, but her actions show her to be out for herself only, and willing to break laws to further her own life.
The same thing people are castigating Castle for (being out for Castle, rather than the GOP).
“If she blows-away Coons in any debates, that will add to her percentage points.”
They are actually having a debate TONIGHT. I wonder if it can be picked up on the web anywhere.

You’re comparing apples to oranges.
Really? On an income of $5500, she paid an $11,000 lien? Hope she didn't use campaign contributions for that - that would also be illegal.
So where might one find information about her paying off her lien?
As far as a candidate in DE, they both suck. Just amazed to see so many "rock-ribbed conservatives" who refused any compromise suddenly compromise not just on candidates but fundamental principles like fraud (claiming you have a degree when you don't) and tax evasion.
So when does the apple of tax cheat (not paying taxes, not reporting income like Christine did) become the orange of tax cheat (not paying back taxes a la Geithner, or not declaring income like Rangel)?
There’s a difference in magnitude, I’ll admit; however, it’s same problem.
She graduated hotrod, she didn’t have the back-debt to receive the paper. You have been a charmed individual I take it.
As of a week ago, it was still reported she had NOT paid her tax lien. Shes also admitted not reporting all her income from the odd jobs shes worked (also tax fraud).”
Where are you getting that she ever had a legitimate IRS lien levied against her and that there is one still outstanding? She was audited when she ran against Biden and there were questions but she did provide additional info that wasn’t included with her 2005 return. I do believe it was determined after all was said and done she did owe some money but she did get relief based upon additional information provided during the appeal process.
There was an IRS lien issued in March, however on May 19, 2010 they stated the lien was due to a computer error and issued a release.
I think I wouldn't feel guilty because the gov't cheats me.
