An Ecofascist Crescent Moon Near Ground Zero
Accuracy in Media ^ | 9/15/2010 | Mark Musser

Ibrahim Abdul-Matin, a U.S. environmental policy consultant and one of Feisal Abdul Rauf’s spokesmen for the new mosque being contemplated near Ground Zero, surprisingly announced in August that it will be the first “green mosque” in the United States. Not only will this structure comply with very strict LEED green standards (Leadership in Energy and Environmental Design), but it will also become an interfaith cultural center that will emphasize “the intricate relationships between Islamic teachings and environmentalism.” As such, this new mosque will not only be built green, but it will also become an environmental Islamic community center. In fact, the project has been renamed “Park 51” to reflect this green emphasis.

In The Daily Beast, Ibrahim Abdul-Matin went on to say that “Islam calls upon people to be stewards of the earth and to treat all things in nature as sacred. The new name…invokes images of trees, creeks, and children playing. Parks are for the public. Parks are fun. Parks are green. And parks are not controversial.”

Contrary to such an innocuous suggestion is that injecting environmentalism into Islam ...

Islam is Murder INC. It has been since its founding by the sex pervert Mo’ed.

What a paradox! The main cause of greenhouse gases is the extraction of carbon fuel from under the deserts of OPEC and Islam.

When are we gonna stop the sending billions a month to OPEC?

Radical Islam + eco-nazis = 7th century.

Why not? If we get rid of all of our technology to satisfy those that still believe in the AGW hoax we will have to live like it's 1400 years ago.

Makes sense considering who the 2 groups are.

I wonder if al Gore teaches that greenies will get 72 virgins if they drive an electric car?

The enviros have already gone a long ways down the road of de-industrializing the United States. The industrial might of the US struck fear into the hearts of the Nazis beginning in the late 30’s and throughout World War II.

The growing tide of Green Muslims working with western environmentalists to help de-industrialize and defund the US is an ominous sign indeed.

When you mix green with red, you get brown.

Human sacrificed for the cause of natural fertility was an unfortunate common feature of ancient pagan civilization, and some of the most descriptive texts on such activitiy are found in the Old Testament with regard to Baal, especially in the books of Hosea (4:11-14), Isaiah (57:1-7), and Jeremiah (19:1-5), which covers a time span of 150 years or so. These passages describe the practice of child sacrifice for the sake of natural fertility, all illustrated by a ritualistic sexual prostitution under the oaks on the mountains, hills or high places. The story for Elijah, for example, which even precedes Hosea by another 100 years, is all about him taking on an ancient version of Baal environmentalism with a hot and dry Jewish dust bowl of global warming proportions blowing in the background (1 Kings 18). Thus, through a process of about 200-300 years, nature worship slowly (evolution) led to the destruction of Israel’s and Judah’s civilization in Old Testament times and is well on its way to doing the same today in our own Judeo-Christian western world. Baal was a popular fellow, even in Old Testament times, let alone today. People are ‘naturally’ attracted to him.

‘Follow the Islamic way to save the world,’ Prince Charles urges environmentalists

http://www.dailymail.co.uk/news/article-1285332/Follow-Islamic-way-save-world-Charles-urges-environmentalists.html

The left-wing and the democrats have always supported and included terrorism as a part of their movement. From the KKK being a terrorist wing of their party to the anti-war terrorists like Bill Ayers to the new eco-terrorist groups like ELF and ALF.

The left-wing has fought in every way to give support to Islamic terrorists: close Gitmo, civilian trials for terrorists, stop surveillance of terrorists, oppose the Patriot Act, divulge military secrets to the terrorists, and now they even fight to erect a 13-story victory mosque at Ground Zero.

Now we're not even allowed to build an oil refinery!

Thanks, I saw and read that article when it came out. Get a load of this from the prince - http://www.pittsburghlive.com/x/pittsburghtrib/opinion/s_690815.html. It was buried in the AIM ecofascist column.

Yes indeed. The environmentalists have made us all much more beholden to the Muslim Middle East than is necessary.

The truth - it’s NOT a mosque:

In Islam, every structure linked to the faith and its rituals has a precise function and character. A mosque is a one-story gallery built around an atrium with a mihrab (a niche pointing to Mecca) and one, or in the case of Shiites two, minarets.

Other Islamic structures, such as harams, zawiyyahs, husseinyiahs and takiyahs, also obey strict architectural rules. Yet the building used for spreading the faith is known as Dar al-Tabligh, or House of Proselytizing.

The Ground Zero project doesn’t fit the traditional minaret. This 13-story [fifteen story if you include subgrade levels] multifunctional structure couldn’t be any of the above.

In fact, the proposed structure is known in Islamic history as a rabat — literally a connector. The first rabat appeared at the time of the Prophet.

The Prophet imposed his rule on parts of Arabia through a series of ghazvas, or razzias (the origin of the English word “raid”). The ghazva was designed to terrorize the infidels, convince them that their civilization was doomed and force them to submit to Islamic rule. Those who participated in the ghazva were known as the ghazis, or raiders. After each ghazva, the Prophet ordered the creation of a rabat — or a point of contact at the heart of the infidel territory raided.

The rabat consisted of an area for prayer, a section for the raiders to eat and rest and facilities to train and prepare for future razzias. Later Muslim rulers used the tactic of ghazva to conquer territory in the Persian and Byzantine empires. After each raid, they built a rabat to prepare for the next razzia.

I assume that’s the point of “Crescent Moon” title, and a normal mosque is contrasted with the eco-fascist cultural center in the piece mentioned in the second paragraph or so. Technically, however, you are right.
