"Let there be no mistake: The National Republican Senatorial Committee – and I personally as the committee’s chairman – strongly stand by all of our Republican nominees, including Christine O’Donnell in Delaware.

I reached out to Christine this morning, and as I have conveyed to all of our nominees, I offered her my personal congratulations and let her know that she has our support. This support includes a check for $42,000 – the maximum allowable donation that we have provided to all of our nominees – which the NRSC will send to her campaign today"

Well, well, well. The NRSC is taking the hint from the electorate.

Well, whoop-dee-doo ... what do you know?

A la Ross Perot: “Now listen. You hear that giant sucking sound? Yeah, you hear it? Well, its the sound of donations leaving the RNC and that Senate outfit, too. Pretty loud, isn’t it?”

"I ... strongly stand by all of our Republican nominees, including Christine O’Donnell in Delaware."

Don't you love the way he couches his "support" for O'Donnell as just one of many candidates, as if he's embarassed to endorse her specifically?

Remember this line, people, and remember it well. It might be the most important line ever uttered in Western Civilization, in fiction or in real life:
We have to protect our phoney baloney jobs here, gentlemen!
--Governor William J. Le Petomane

It completely sums up "politics as usual" in the Ruling Classes of the Western World.

Cornhole is now scared for his job, following the open revolt against him.
The NRSC slight of O’Donnell after she clinched the GOP nomination was the straw that broke the camel’s back.
It’s too late, Cornhole.

The entire GOP power structure is now in the crosshairs, thanks to the anti-Republican behavior of Michael Steal, John Cornhole, and Karl Rove.

The Tea Party candidates are now the Republican candidates.
We will not tolerate insurrection against the Party’s standard bearers from the endangered RINOs on their way out the door.

$42,000 is all? I find this hard to believe. Years and years ago I worked to raise funds for the NRSC, when we could believe their support was worthy. I know that personally I took in hundreds of thousands in contributions. That was then, and we had hundreds of workers doing the same. I am sure the efforts are resulting in much greater amounts now, considering people can donate more easily through the Internet and not just via mail and phone solicitations. There must be more to come. $42,000 is a drop in the bucket when you think of how costly it is to run a campaign.

But, if they do have far fewer donations, and less to offer candidates, then they have to look to the reason...and that is...people have lost faith in the NRSC for the very type of attitude they displayed last night.

Great post!!!

Now is not the time for conservatives to be gullible. The Republican Establishment cannot stand us, and just wants us to go away.

Cornyn may come to realize that he needs us. But the difference now ... we have come to realize that we do not need him.

"$42k is all they given anybody? You gotta be kidding me!"

They got expenses, carrying charges, graft, theft, fund raising charges, general pork, and other things to consider. lol
