And I have a few questions:

* Who put up the $500,000 bail money to get Shourd out of Iran? Was it George Soros or one of his shell companies or organizations?

* How long until Shourd starts spouting her anti-American, anti-Israel, pan-Islamic garbage in books, on Oprah and other TV interviews, etc?

3-2-1 . . .

Instead of the gushing over this undeserving woman, let’s hear some answers to these questions. Let’s just even hear the questions being asked.

But no mainstream media news outlet–including Prince AlWaleed’s FOX News–is bothering to ask them. Too busy drooling for no reason over this “American hiker.”

As long as the other two Americans are held hostage this dunce will keep her mouth shut.

Bail is an incentive to return to court. That $500,000 was ransom, plain and simple.

We have few real journalists in America. Professional malpractice on a national scale.

My thoughts, exactly! Either she really was a spy, or she's an idiot.

The three hikers all are young, very likely unemployed world travelers. In my day, we had trouble surplusing enough cash to buy a six pack of beer, let alone a hiking trip to a place most suitable for giving the planet an enema.

In my day, my fiance and I could only afford day hikes. Reason number one, cash was scarce. Reason number two, her parents and brothers would not have been happy with me for having their precious daughter away from home over night. Three is a crowd or at least when I was young. Now I think it is called “manage a` trois”. Gross to me.

Let the Persians have fun with them for as long as they wish. As for Zero’s puppetteer paying the ransom, hey who really gives a rat’s behind.

These three paid their money( or someone’s money) and took their chances. Why should we care more about those three than all the dozens of others held by the Persians.

I can see November from my house!!!

Let me see if I understand this - three “hikers” go to Iraq for a hiking vacation? Iraq? To hike? I’m not buying this at all. There is much more to this story, of which we may never find out.

Actually, they were “hiking” in Iraq, and “accidently” entered Iran. Or, so the claim goes.

They are Aryanians, not Persians.

It’ll be Persia when they give up their current fascist govt.

—-and especially, particularly want to address President Ahmadinejad and all of the Iranian officials, the religious leaders, and thank them for this humanitarian gesture,–

Was this a genuine thank you or did she say it to protect her friends still being held hostage?

Has she taken her burqa off yet?

There is a large population of well funded global wanderers. They travel cheap to the farthest corners of earth. Katmandu is a prime place for drugs, adventure and cheap living. Guide books: Moon Publications. This chick probably likes to bungi jump too.

More about the three Berkeley idiots here! Must be nice to be hit in the face with the REAL WORLD. Wonder if that major in “Peace and Conflict studies” paid off in their Iranian prison!

“her parents and brothers would not have been happy with me for having their precious daughter away from home over night”

Good for them.

Do you have daughters?

Yep. None of it smells right. The three “hikers” also lived in Syria for a time. They are not to be trusted.
