Anger Is Now Hardened into Resolve
Pajamas Media ^ | September 14, 2010 | Kyle-Ann Shiver

March 21, 2010, the day ObamaCare was passed, will be remembered as the day that the Democrats thwarted the will of the people and sealed their fate in November.

This time last year, the biggest names in media were still openly deriding tea parties, that is, when they were bothering to pay the movement any attention whatsoever. In only one year, the tea party movement has gone from the force liberals loved to ignore, to the force they loved to mock with their own vulgar epithets. It has has now become the force they grudgingly respect in the way liberals love best: open hate.

Polls show that Americans favor the tea party movement over the establishment of both the R & the D mega-parties. Whether one is able to participate physically in a tea party isn’t even an indicator of this groundswell of support — which tells any political pulse-taker that the massive tea parties are the mere tip of an iceberg that threatens to shake the seats of power not only in D.C., but in every state house, town council, and school board across the country.

An odd army of homemakers, empty-nested moms and dads, retired fellows, businessmen who’ve lost their businesses, and various other regular folks have taken on the elitist establishment from their living rooms, using phones and laptops to produce the most viable political movement seen in this country since the civil rights movement. The exasperated anger seen at townhalls last summer has now hardened into resolve.

When did this hardening of the national will occur?

March 21, 2010.

That was the day the entirely partisan Democrat Congress gave President Obama final passage of his signature legislation. That was the day Barack and Rham high-fived it in the Oval Office and sacrificed the fortunes of an entire political party and the will of the nation on the altar of Barack’s trinity of me, myself and I. That was the day on which national anger became resolve.

The nation told the Democrats not to pass the health care bill. Americans were not fooled by any of the lying Democrat rhetoric about cutting costs, saving the economy, or making our health care delivery system better. Americans saw the health care bill as the power grab it was from nearly the beginning.

The majority of voters had taken Barack Obama at his word before the election, that the health care debate would be slow, deliberate, and open on C-SPAN for all to see. The majority put their trust in the president’s promise to conduct “transparent” government with a cautious eye towards deficits and debt. Without even bothering to read a bill that would literally take over one sixth of the entire American economy and put it into the hands of unelected bureaucrats — and out of the hands of the people — the Democrats wheeled-dealed, cheated and lied their way to the vote. It was an utter sham and the people knew it.

All the other power-grabs — taking over auto companies and banks and insurance companies — might have left the Democrats out of the electoral tsunami zone, but the health care power grab sealed their coming fate.

The health care bill, foisted upon an unwilling American public, has become this era’s Intolerable Act. Just as King George and his elitist parliament pushed our ancestors beyond their breaking point, so has the modern Democrat cabal of Obama, Pelosi, and Reid. These are names that will live in American infamy.

Liberal pundits are still writing from a modern perspective, analyzing data, looking for hope in recent past flips in electoral dissatisfaction, utterly oblivious to the true picture. Token conservative pundits still disdain the tea party movement and shake their heads in dismay as the old guard crumbles around them. The out-of-date media speaks as though they still have power to control the people’s flow of real information and shake their heads in wonder at how the masses are so stupid. Race hustlers from every nook and cranny still hurl their accusations as though the people believe them. Hit pieces against our modern liberty boys and girls appear regularly in formerly esteemed newspapers and magazines as though the people give a tiny whit what the loyalists prefer.

And just as our ancestors were willing to dump the darned tea into the harbor, rather than indulge their favorite luxury, modern Americans are making huge personal sacrifices to journey long distances just to make their voices heard.

It’s hard some days not to just sit back and laugh at the spectacle of a whole vanguard biting the dust and still not knowing what’s hitting them smack upside the head.

This is America, stupid!

This isn’t France or Britain or Germany or Italy. We’ve been putting those old Europeans’ faces in the dirt for more than 200 years now. The last thing in the entire world real Americans want is to follow Europeans off the cliff of freedom’s destruction, bringing our whole economy down in the bargain.

Luxury? Sure, we love luxury just as much as the next fellow. And we Americans have created more luxury for more common people than any civilization in the history of the world.

But just as our colonial ancestors were willing to sacrifice their personal fortunes for the liberty to determine their own futures, so are we.

For those idiots running this country into the ground for personal profit and power, here’s a message that ought to be heeded posthaste:

Individual liberty is a God-given right. It is unalienable by any government.

For 100 years, progressives have eroded individual liberty on the mantle of collectivist envy. And we the people have let them.

But on March 21, 2010, they went too far. The people know that the health care bill wasn’t about health care at all. It was and is about power, the power to control one’s own business, one’s own healthcare, one’s own destiny.

Over here we prefer liberty to luxury any day of the week. And we aren’t afraid to sacrifice luxury for our liberty.

This is precisely why all the old formulas, all the old data, all the old political playbooks of the past century are pitifully out of date now.

Welcome to the 21st century American revolution.

Doesn’t it feel great to be a patriot!

We’ll have our tea and eat the loyalist power-brokers for lunch. Tar and feathers? Nah. We’ll just use the vote, thank you.

Bring it on. The tide is high, the Tsunami rises.

I. for one, am still seething with anger and disgust for 0bamao and congress! They arrogantly disregarded the will of the people, because they think they are more enlightened and the elite ruling class. I've got news for them!

And if the Fall election is rigged by a combination of Project Vote, ACORN, SEIU, illegal aliens, the dead, and just plain non existent voters, then what? I wish I could see six months into the future.

This is America, stupid!

Should replace “It’s the economy, stupid!” as the bumper sticker-type slogan politicians forget at their peril. Pretty sad that that even has to be said.

All we can hope is to stop the bleeding right now. True conservatives wont get any legislation through with the current regime. We need a tea party in the white house come 2k12 not some pretender like Romney. Only then can things change but even then it might be too late. Its going to start going to hell real fast once these Bush tax cuts expire.

You can bet the rats will do anything to steal the election and remain in power. What, I don’t know

Rah, Rah, Rah.

I fear that as has happened before, this will not change, nor be remedied without bloodshed.

Hopefully a tidal wave in November will make physical resistance unnecessary. We will find out soon.

Exactly, our individual representatives and senators ignored the pleading of their constituents because they
‘knew better”, the heighth of arrogance in a representative government.

Turns out Bill Clinton was wrong when he told congressional democrats
that voting for Obama care was the secret to winning the 2010 midterms.

The idiots who fell for the Emperor's new clothes need to be sent a message BEFORE the election, loud and clear, 5 by 5 as they said in the old two-way radio world. America is not happy with what these idiots did and we who have some common sense and love for the America of our Founding Fathers are going to make some mid-course corrections. The first attempt at corrections will be the Nov. 2nd election. We need to tell these idiots that we expect them to work with us in correcting their huge mistake by voting to kick out every Democrat that has supported the Obama Madness.

The rest of the message to them is that WE ARE GOING TO STOP THE MADNESS, with or without them. The easiest way for everyone is to vote the bastards out of office in Nov. If that doesn't work the next steps will be nowhere nearly as innocuous as getting their butts to the polls and turning out the Dems. Subsequent steps we plan to take will be much more to their disliking, but we WILL take them!

Is there an official site to hook up with an area’s Tea Party?

There’s too many posers out there to trust Google (well, not to mention it’s Google!). I’d rather get the real deal from one of you folks. :-)

You might want to check on Michelle Malkin’s site. I know she had some links to tea parties posted before

It is unprecedented in modern times, isn’t it?

Americans from every single little categorized box, like the left loves to put people in, came together and said enough is enough and the left found themselves with no plan to deal with it.

The left got one slam against us right; we are an angry mob (I personally take that as a compliment). What they do not understand is how we use our anger. We do not riot, thrash buildings, burn personal property, physically attack people, throw shoes or follow the play-book the professional left uses. Our anger is still there, just below the surface, fueling our resolve to take down our corrupt media, take down the left and destroy their organizations. We don’t just want to stop them, our goal is to put a stake into the heart of the professional left. Under our watch we will stop the progressive movement in its tracks and teach future generations to prevent any re-birth.

They never thought Americans would wake up as we have and the left is scared, as are the RINO’s and leadership in our party. All the left can put together as a “defense” is their normal Alinsky tactics while the RNC desperately tries to attack and dismiss anyone who threatens their former power structure. We’ve co-opted Alinsky for our own use and left is apoplectic about it. Like two year old throwing a temper tantrum, the left is showing themselves in all their ugly glory and it is on full display for Americans to see. With every attack more and more people are seeing what has been ruling this nation and they are turning away in disgust.

The old rules no longer apply and the left and their media cohorts would be well served to realize, We The People are not giving up our country without a fight.

We are the majority.

We love this nation, her history and her constitution and it will be a cold day in hell before we surrender to those who wish to destroy her.

Remember in November and for every election that follows.
