CNS News reports that Newt Gingrich spoke at the Faith and Freedom Conference this past Friday and predicted that House Speaker Nancy Pelosi would retire after the elections. He also predicts that Reid will lose his re-election.
“I think you’re going to see Speaker John Boehner and I think you’re going to see retired former Speaker Nancy Pelosi. I think there’s a very good chance that you’re going to see Majority Leader Mitch McConnell and you’re going to see defeated Harry Reid”, Gingrich said to the audience.

Newt,, dubious guy though he is, can still accuratelhy predice elecction results. In 1994 his prediction for the House outcome was just about right on accurate. Let’s holpe he’s just as good this time.

When she loses the House, look to Pelousy to immediately introduce legislation that will let her keep all the perks she had as Speaker, like the private jet, etc.) My guess is once the Dems in Congress know The Wicked Witch of the West has no power to do anything to them anymore, it will be interesting to see if they totally denounce her and all of her legislation.
I’ll also be curious to see what those Blue Dog Dems, who needed to stay in her good graces, do if her claws are clipped. I wonder if some of them, if returned to office, do some party switching after the election.
Well one two out of four isn’t bad - Reid loses and Pelosi retires. But if we take over the House and Senate I can’t believe the leadership would remain the same, especially in the House with all the newbies. I think Bachmann and DeMint would be awesome leaders but unless and until there is a female majority in the House I doubt if there will be another woman weilding the gavel.
Based on what I saw first hand yesterday I say you are right. Last 9/12 was a great event. Yesterday was more than I ever imagined it could be, 1 year later. The average, hard working Americans want their country back. They are sick and tired of being played by these thieves in Washington. Now if every person can educate another couple folks and show up with them to vote come Nov., the tides will turn. May God grace this nation with leaders such as George Washington and Thomas Jefferson again. These nowaday politicians aren’t worthy to scrub the dirt off the founders shoes. Self serving hacks, 95% of them!
