REHOBOTH BEACH, Del.— Soon after Alaska Sen. Lisa Murkowski lost her August primary and became the latest casualty of the tea party’s assault on the GOP establishment, she placed a call to Rep. Mike Castle, another Republican Party favorite facing an insurgent challenger.

Her message? “They'll come at you hard, so just be prepared," Castle told POLITICO.

Look at the voting record. Castle is a Jefford in wating. Wasting time and energy electing this traitor so he can sell us out in Jan 2011 like Jeffords did in 2001 is idiotic.

If all conservatives would send in a contribution, regardless how small it may be, we can defeat the RINO Castle. Of course the establishment says she can’t win the general election against the rat but we know differently.

Does the GOP actually think they will gain votes with the kind of trashy behavior we've seen from them, towards "their own"? How STUPID can they BE? They just keep alienating, stepping on, spitting on, and PISSING OFF the very people they owe their allegience to. They will NOT gain Democrat voters -- they've got the real thing in their own party. They will NOT gain independents -- they know where to go if they want "real" libs. So again, how STUPID can they BE?

well, of all tea party backed candidates, O’Donnell is no doubt the least desirable. Like millions of other Americans, she is no doubt a true conservative. However, her track record is zero, she is a proven liar and conspiracy theorist and possibly committed a crime with her financial disclosures. Running side business using employer’s computer and time and when getting caught, filing a frivolous gender discrimination lawsuit tells something about her.

I blame the tea party for not finding a conservative who had a worthy character and credibility. She will probably lose the general election, but even if she somehow would get elected, is she the kind of candidate we want in Senate?

I want true conservatives who are also honest and have the right character.

This election is national news, and I will tell you that even here in Wisconsin our VERY conservative talk show host (Charlie Sykes 620WTMJ), and other political pundits are saying that this one race could be the tipping of the Senate. And I am sorry to say, they don't think O'Donnell can win.

I encourage everyone to vote their guts, but please know that every State will effect every other State this election. Please think about electability.

Having said that, I am intrigued by her, and if she does come out victorious tomorrow I will donate to her campaign.

"Castle actually had it in the bag until the Republicans shot themselves in the foot and decided to run this full-fledged attack on her," said Bass. "If they just let her alone and let her go, it probably wouldn't have went anywhere, but now they got this big bully Republican establishment to fight."

This from the article, an independent said it.

Read that again. It is critical.

This is WHY she will win. Three factors:

First, undecided voters break to the underdog or the conservative in significant numbers.

Second, although Independents cannot vote, they DO chat with their friends who may be Republicans.

Third, and last. They SHOULD have ignored her. THEY gave her more press at a time when she had NONE. STUPID. For them. GREAT for us. But more importantly, attacking a woman many times will backfire.

Women do not like it. And Men get naturally protective. Ad this to her underdog status and the fact she is pretty.

And then she has the national spotlight. It all spells WIN.

Politics, like sports, is about peaking at the right time. You can go 11 straight wins, but if injuries force you to lose the last 5 games in a row, you ain't gonna make the Superbowl.

And if you have a 10 and 6 record and are the lowest Wildcard, but your have the momentum late... you can beat the 16-0 Patriots!

Rocky. America LOVES the underdog, the come from behind, and they DESIRE to be part of it. To say "I made that happen".

Even idiots who voted for Obama did that.

Now, it is on OUR side.

Mark my words. We are going to WIN control of the Senate and if she wins THIS, she WILL win this fall. It is THAT big of a vote the bums out. Huge. Tsunami is coming.

Take names and note the RINO backers. They must be targeted and removed from GOP ASAP after the primary.

Tuesday, Sept 14 is going to be a very fine day in Delaware for another RINO Kill (politically speaking, of course).

GOP Elites must be removed, if Our Precious Republic is to survive. There is no other option. IMHO

They are stoopid. But they are not doing this by accident. It is definitely malice aforethought.

It has been my belief for a long time that the liberal elite GOP establishment would prefer a Democrat to a conservative Republican. And would work to that end.

I also believe that they would prefer to be a minority party of mostly liberals, than a majority party of mostly conservatives.

How much influence would Graham, McCain et al have if the party was mostly conservatives?

You are mistaken. O’Donnell is not only a loser in November, her opponent will not be Chris Coons, it will be Beau Biden.

If Castle loses tomorrow, the RATS are preparing to pull a Torricelli and substitute Beau Biden onto the US Senate ballot — giving him a free ride in November and a US Senate seat for the rest of his life.

Besides the down-ballot disaster to good conservatives like Colin Bonini, I hope every GOP primary voter in DE tomorrow recognizes that a vote for O’Donnell is not only a vote for Harry Reid, it is a vote for Beau Biden to be your next US Senator.

Nuts & sluts attack, just like the left. Not a word on policy, beliefs, etc. If she was so bad, why did the GOP support her up to now? Where is the similar anal search of Castle? Or are RINOs just naturally pure as the driven snow?

(above not from me, take it up with Mark Levin & Rush).

...hmmmmm, and you base that on what? your speculation that cowardly Beau will give up an uncontested reelection to take on a tea party winner in an atmosphere fed up with incumbents? not likely in my world but maybe DE is that different...
