Will the Delaware GOP endorse the Democrat (Coons) instead of O'Donnell?

Somewhere not too far from me, people are in line at the metro, but before I get in line, there is a possibility which needs to be examined.

O'Donnell has now made national headlines, so has Tom Ross. His statements (especially the dogcatcher one) have inflamed people throughout the country. Discussions lean towards the fact that the GOP has turned against one of their own.

So… what happens on Wednesday? Rumors have begun to circulate about what the Delaware GOP will do if O'Donnell wins. This now seems viable, so this should be examined. Will the proud, tall, strong, might, unbreakable GOP eat their words? Will they tuck their tails in and shake O'Donnell's hand? Or will they endorse the Democrat Chris Coons?

Does the GOP (Tom Ross) hate Christine O'Donnell that much?

Here's what I'm doing today; while at the rally I will be filming people and asking them words of advice for the Delaware GOP. There will actually be a few of us doing the same thing.

Let's play a game, let's see what the establishment does when it's held accountable to the people

We know that if she wins they are unlikely to be "moderate" at all in their treatment of her. Moderate is a label that almost always indicates "I don't want to tell you what I really think because then you might not vote for me".

In certain states, the GOP has become a wing of the Democratic Party.

I suggest that there is plenty of time to worry about this after O’Donnell wins. She needs to accomplish that first.

Whomever wins, will lose. Guaranteed.

If Castle wins, the conservatives will stay home.

If O’Donnell wins, the GOP establishment will not fund her general campaign.

I want Castle destroyed politically. He is a worthless political scum that should not be anywhere near a public decision making office. Let him find a private job. I don’t care if he makes millions - just keep him out of making decisions that affect my life.

If he wins this week, I hope he loses. I would rather see the enemy in front of me, than behind me.

There is a thread about hyphenated names lurking about.

I would rather see the enemy in front of me, than behind me.

Many conservatives have awakened to that reality. Great line. Thanks.

After O’Donnell wins the primary, the GOP establishment (Ruling Class) will have to either hold their nose harder than they’ve ever done—and support her—or they’ll have to just admit the truth and support the democrat.

The Ruling Class GOP does not like Christine O’Donnell because she will fight a real fight to recover our Constitution.

They nominated her 6 years ago, they will support her this year if she wins.

In Delaware, it is the BOHICA party. Both in their treatment of voters and in acquiescence to the RATs.

If the GOP establishment endorses Coons then it should be called “racist.” :)

In certain states, the GOP has become a wing of the Democratic Party.

Not only is that absolutely true for some states, it is the normal situation in most Democrat-dominated parasite nests ("cities"). This happens because the godless scumbags of the left live and breathe the greed of political power while Republicans tend to have lives outside of politics and care about other things, such as their families.

In states like California, New Jersey, Delaware, and Massachusetts the rats keep the GOP around only in order to try to make themselves look legitimate. (New Jersey's Chris Christie is an anomaly - - I'm sure the scumbag GOP there had no idea who this guy really was. He better watch his back.)

I want Castle destroyed politically.

I am just a spectator as regards this race, but just dont see it happening. His favorables are HIGH--upper 60s last survey I saw.

Even among black voters he was viewed favorably by more than half. I am not sure I have seen numbers like that for any GOP politician.

My theory here is that there is something about him that transcends his voting record.

Well, as long as Castle loses there will be something positive to smile about.
The worst possible outcome would be Castle winning, and thereby being rewarded for being a backstabbing liberal (ie., true) RINO.

Look, first the BIG PICTURE..the GOP can now smell the possibility of taking the Senate..as the House goes, so goes the Senate in the last 75 years. So if O’Donnell wins, you will see tremendous, yet quiet, behind the scenes pressur exerted by everyone in the national GOP, on the Delaware GOP to shut up, smile, and get aboard..

Especially in Delaware, I can tell you, as a resident. That even politically, the Delaware GOP are just about as liberal as the Democrats are.
