The reason not to burn Qurans is that it's unkind -- not to jihadists, but to Muslims who mean us no harm. The same goes for building a mosque at ground zero -- in both cases, it's not a question of anyone's "rights," it's just a nasty thing to do.
I say that Pastor Jones should cut a deal with the Imam. He won’t burn the Koran, if the Imam won’t build the mosque on Ground Zero.

Especially since I just glimpsed CBS news showing footage of KKK rallies in relation to American’s rights to assemble and protest. Katie looked VERY concerned. That tells me I’m right.

But I understand Sarah's position, and as a politician it is entirely expected, as it would be crazy if she would foment and encourage any kind of violence.
I think rudeness is unnecessary whatever the culture. It’s rude to burn another religion’s religious articles. I wouldn’t want it done to mine. I don’t like when people disrespect my flag either so I don’t disrespect anyone else’s.
Building the mosque at Ground Zero is beyond rude; it’s cruel. That spot is a gravesite and should not be used for anything but what it was at the time of the massacre.
