2008, TWO YEARS, is too far back when examining a politician's record?

No, I'm suggesting that Castle has a legislative record that extends well beyond the last four months of the Bush administation. Rational voters will examine his whole record not just cherry pick distort the parts of it they don't like.

The fact is Castle votes with his party 88% of the time.

What about 2009 when Castle voted for Cap and Trade or 2010 when he voted for the Disclose Act?

I think his 2009 vote for cap and trade had to do with the more popular 'green jobs' portion of the bill. The administration is helping Fisker Auto locate a huge hybrid automotive manufacturing operation into the old Wilmington Assembly, bringing thousands of jobs and hundreds of millions of dollars to the state.

As it turns out the original Obama plan is a dead letter so its hard to see how you turn his vote into a mortal sin.

...and what exactly is your complaint about the Disclosure Act, (aside from O'Donnell's allergic reaction to anything with the word disclosure in it)?

On this board and throughout this discussion, our concern is how conservative Castle is and whether he can be considered a conservative at all. As it turns out, not only isn't he conservative, he also isn't moderate. He's one of the most leftist Republicans in Congress.

According to the American Conservative Union, Castle has a rating of 28% for 2008, 56% for 2009 - that's 42% TOTAL for 2008 AND 2009 and a Life time rating in Congress for 17 years equaling 52.49%. Hardly cherry picking. We highlighted a few of his most egregious recent votes as prime examples of his Liberal, Socialist tendencies. The man has promised, btw, NOT to repeal Obamacare.

I am one of the founders of Independence Hall Tea Party PAC, which has a VERY reasonable record for endorsing candidates Independence Hall Tea Party PAC. Only one of the 14 endorsed candidates pictured on the front page of our website was not endorsed by us in the primary, Dee Adcock (who has very little chance of defeating (D) Allyson Schwartz).

Our Tea Party group is probably one of the most mainstream Tea Party Organizations in the entire country. One of the reasons we unanimously voted to endorse Christine, besides the fact that she is impressively articulate and a good conservative, is because Castle's voting record is absolutely abysmal. He's so LEFT he doesn't belong in the Republican Party.
