RNC Ad Responds to Obama’s Mocking GOP as the “Party of No” – Video

Here is a nice response ad from the RNC to President Obama’s mocking Republicans the other day by calling them the “Party of No.”

At one point, Obama told the Labor Day crowd, “If I said the sky was blue – they’d say ‘No.’” The ad plays the clip of him saying that, then shows a dark and forbidding sky with the words, “With policies this bad, who could blame them.”

Very nice!

Still not strong enough, not pointed enough.

Not bad... but I would have focused on those dark clouds a LOT more and made the point much clearer. I think they were trying too hard to be clever.

Very weak and diffuse. Repeating the sky is blue bit — is not a good move, IMHO.

Could be much stronger. The GOP still thinks this is a game they are playing with their buddies across the aisle. They want to be able to chuckle about each others’ ads over wine and canapes at Bistro Bis.

when i was a kid and picked my nose mom smacked me and said no. i learned, unlike our government.

same situation, only on a larger scale. these pigs are not picking their noses, they’re picking 400,000,000 noses.

it remains to be seen if this situation can be reconciled in a nonviolent manner.

hope dims daily. thanks be to god we are a nation of pussies.

I think a better idea would be to use:

Yes, we ARE...

the party of kNOw

or something along those lines...

We KNOW the Constitution

We KNOW the will of the people

We KNOW how to LEAD

We KNOW how to generate JOBS

We KNOW about REAL CHANGE
