Could be much stronger. The GOP still thinks this is a game they are playing with their buddies across the aisle. They want to be able to chuckle about each others’ ads over wine and canapes at Bistro Bis.
My take. The GOP can easily blow it. So far what have I heard from them? A tax freeze and a few spending cuts but nothing specific. No elimination of any Federal Agencies or programs and a little tinkering with the tax code. Hell this does not cut the mustard in my book. You might as well let the Democrats stay in and have to take responsibility for the mess. The GOP sure seems intent on blowing it.
