So, considering the $21 million cost of his campaign, the septuagenarian maverick paid approximately $74.64 per vote.
To put this desperation in perspective, McCain's 2008 presidential campaign spent $293 million for 58.3 million votes, averaging $5.03 per lever-pull. For his 1982 congressional campaign, McCain spent $550,000 for 89,116 votes, or $13.54/vote in inflation-adjusted dollars.
Of course, McCain still has to defeat Democrat Rodney Glassman in November to keep his Senate seat but he probably won't break a sweat while doing so. Our advice to the heavily unfavored newcomer: start buying lottery tickets immediately.

It did not take the A-hole long.
Thanks Sarah.
Tea Party members and Freepers need to initiate a nationwide ABM treaty with the GOP right now. Anyone But McCain!
Google the Quebec Act and read about its impact on the colony of Virginia. This one sounds sort of similar.
The Quebec Act moved the Canadian border down to the Ohio River and removed approximately 25,000 acres from the colony of Virgina, some of which belonged to George Washington. Needless to say, it got the Virginians all fired up. At the time the Continental Congress was debating the Declaration of Independence, the Virginia legislature had already passed a measure declaring its independence from Britan. Come hell or high water, the wanted to be decoupled from the monarchy even if they had to stand alone.

Every landowner along the border should start a new business - a firing range.
They could charge their fellow Americans a small fee to come down, face south, and plink away at targets. They could put up lights like the ones at the ballparks so “target practice” could continue all through the night.
The old mexican **** cramp
I suppose it is too late for a third party candidate.
Ping!

Because all this clown had to do to win the primary was to temporarily swerve back to the right (only a little), it makes you wonder just how naive Arizona voters are.
It goes to prove Alexander Hamilton’s statement that if you stand for nothing, you’ll fall for anything.
One step closer to CWII.
