I mentioned Shatner's interviewing skills in another Shat thread running now on FR. Watch Shatner's Raw Nerve and see how good he is at not only asking questions, but listening. He seems to be genuinely interested in what people have to say and isn't afraid to delve into personal areas.

I agree. Shatner is a very, very good interviewer, and doesn’t do cliche’ questions. He also gives people time to answer.

Before I had seen the show, I would have never thought it, but he is very, very good at this format.

You don't think this can happen to you? Just remember this happened under GHW Bush, not clinton.
