I am in Va Beach (about 10 miles inland). Office in Norfolk, where I have been requested to try and be in the morning. We’ll see.

Battening down the hatches here in Connecticut. Lawn furniture going into the garage, all loose stuff put away.
We don’t get hurricanes often, thank God, but when we do, they tend to be bad as they skim the coast and hit us directly.
I’m not understanding why this is a big news story.
A storm that will remain out to sea has been the lead story on Drudge all morning.
Maybe this is the media just hoping for another Katrina.
A friend of ours just closed on a house near Nags Head, NC at the beginning of August.
